thats not cool at all homz. i can explain it. the cup: air is trying to get in place of the water due too gravity. the air is forcing the plastic against the cup. DUHH!! the bag: plastic stretches a little bit. you put the pencils through, the plastic forms around the pencil because of the weight of the water, and the plastic is being stretched because of the "cone" at the end of the pencil.
