@ArmedJam0414 Well I know they made a remake to the sequel of Marth's game for the NIntendo DS(The sequel to Shadow Dragon) about a year ago. But it was only released in Japan. I just hope Nintendo hasn't forgotten about us fans in the rest of the world and gives it an international release soon. I wouldn't worry about Nintendo to stop making Fire Emblem games. The way I understand it sells really well in japan and decently enough everywhere else as long as it makes money we will get more I hope
@JJO902 I know about the new release of shadow dragon, but it's only in Japan. What worries me is that almost half of the Fire emblem games were never in the U.S.( although certain people romulated and English-patched it, but only after a few years passed since the making of them). I know I might be sounding a bit impatient, but the thing of new Fire Emblem release not coming 2 the U.S. vexes me so.......
@ArmedJam0414 In my opinion the fact that they remade two of the Japanese only releases is a good sign for us fans in the rest of the world a sign that we might get to play official versions of all of the Fire emblem games eventually. My theory for the delayed release of FE 12 is because of all of the 3DS hype. Nintendo wants to release the game at a time when it can make the most money. Once all the 3DS buzz dies down we might very well get news of a U.S. release. If not we form an angry mob.

@happohassa You know what would be cool? If they remade the 6th game (the one with Roy) with an expanded story to include all of those prequel exclusive characters and what happened to them. Like Jaffar, Nino, Lyndis etc. And if Nintendo wasn't stingy and actually gave it a worldwide release.
@JJO902 Too bad we're not getting that anytime soon. Still, I thoroughly enjoy possibly the hardest strategy game that isn't some huge sci-fi flick to date. Though I must say, they're getting a little insane on the difficulty, especially in the Wii version....
@happohassa Yeah Fire Emblem is without a doubt my all time favorite video game series. The Wii game was brutal at times mainly for all of the battles with Miciah's army. The part 2 endgame was also pretty tough. Although the funny part is that it kind of balances out. Because the levels with Miciiah's weak army were hard, the ones with Elincia's army were normalish, and the ones with Ike's group were easier.
@JJO902 Wish a new one would hurry up and come out already, I need more difficult games haha. Never got to play the Sword of Seals though, Macs suck at emulators and the like.

I heard Roy's game was translated by fans in a lot of different languages. So it's probably a fan English translation which would explain the profanity. I think an official Nintendo English translation would have more sophisticated/historically accurate bad words.

@happohassa Well from what I've heard about it so far it seems to be pretty good. And they took out that annoying Shadow Dragon feature so you don't have to kill most of your people just to recruit one person. The whole My unit custom character thing sounds pretty awesome.
@JJO902 The only thing that also rankled me was the fact that you couldn't rescue anyone, nor shove them. Half the characters had no speed/dodge. I mean, that's fine for some characters, can't make it too easy, but jeez....

But I figured since it was a remake they just wanted it to be as close to the original as possible which apparently didn't have those options. Truthfully I was just so overjoyed to finally be playing the first game with Marth I really didn't let any of the flaws bother me for to long.
@happohassa If i remember correctly, in The sealed sword, you can find out what may have happened to Nino and Jaffar. when you visit a village they talk about the evil lord of their lands being killed along with almost all of his guards. they talk about many be killed by a blade and others being turned to ash by fire magic.
Lol I think it's funny since I don't know anything about fire emblem besides having watched all 2 episodes of the anime and any information off of super smash bros that I can only tell who's who by the color of their hair.

And if your interested in learning more about Fire emblem i can recommend you check out the Nintendo Wii game Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn because it has Ike from super smash brothers. Or the DS game Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon its a bit simpler but it has Marth from super smash brothers and everybody loves Marth
God getting A support with Ninian was a bitch I actually just put them next to each other and every 14+ turns I would raise their support, but god not enough time to get it normally since I just blaze through Fire emblem and the Ninian spends most of her time away from the party or dead.

The wyvern boss in the level of path of radience when they invade Daein and the Daein army threatens to open up the floodgates the boss at that level is Jill's dad and they mention that repeatedly. Haar and jill are not related but then again if you payed attention during the game you would know that
@trullymob I would like to point out that the game has multiple endings if Eliwood and Ninian have an A support she stays and Nils goes back alone. If Eliwood has an A support with either Lyndis or Fiora he marries them and Ninian returns to her world.

I guess you could say that they are adopted brother and sister, but that's really only mentioned once in FE9. It's more like a best friend relationship that ends up in romance.

to add to that, if they never created radiant dawn (and honestly, i wouldn't lose any sleep over it if they did. great game, but it wen't below my expectations as the sequel to the greatest game in the series) the ending cinema practically SHOWS them walking out hand in hand, leaving everyone to think that they did end up together (i no i did). then along came RD and totally threw a monkey wrench into it. Oh well. water under the bridge.

i second that. Unfortunately, even though they had great chemistry in PoR, the writers ignored it entirely and sent ike away on a spirit walk or something (he left by his lonesome and/or with soren or ranulf. I'm pretty sure he's not homo) and left Elincia with Geoffrey. I could understand why and whatnot, but i disagreed with that arrangement.
i agree with you completly on that he should have ended up up with elincia but ike leaving the continent could possibly lead to a fire emblem crossover and who knows ike could find a girlfriend on another continent right?
i too, could see that happening, but i would have preferred it to have ended with Ike having more then one possible outcome, namely not leaving for no explained reason. I could see a game involving him on tellius while still keeping true to his epilogue, though it would be tremendously difficult. imo
That's true. But pairings like that are some of the best ones. Seth-Eirika in FE8 comes to mind. It's kind of the same thing as Ike-Elincia. I got Ike and Elincia to an "A" support in Radiant and when nothing happened, I was very disappointed.
Trust me you were not the only one who was disappointed and im not bashing the whole knight/princess theme i did put pics of seth/eirika and kent/lyndis in the vid it's jut that they could have swicthed things up a bit in Radiant dawn

@JJO902 No they only get married if you keep their level A support however Sothe's wind affinity sucks for support so not many people do.

miciah and sothe pretend to be brother and sister but in reality miciah found sothe when he was little and an orphan and she took him in and practically raised him and at the end of the game they get married

thank you and i forgot when miciah reveals everything but it's near the end of the game and throughout the game they give hints that they are not really related and at the very end of the game they get married and so do certain other couples who got an A support with each other

I guess you could say that they are adopted brother and sister, but that's really only mentioned once in FE9. It's more like a best friend relationship that ends up in romance.

to add to that, if they never created radiant dawn (and honestly, i wouldn't lose any sleep over it if they did. great game, but it wen't below my expectations as the sequel to the greatest game in the series) the ending cinema practically SHOWS them walking out hand in hand, leaving everyone to think that they did end up together (i no i did). then along came RD and totally threw a monkey wrench into it. Oh well. water under the bridge.

i second that. Unfortunately, even though they had great chemistry in PoR, the writers ignored it entirely and sent ike away on a spirit walk or something (he left by his lonesome and/or with soren or ranulf. I'm pretty sure he's not homo) and left Elincia with Geoffrey. I could understand why and whatnot, but i disagreed with that arrangement.

i agree with you completly on that he should have ended up up with elincia but ike leaving the continent could possibly lead to a fire emblem crossover and who knows ike could find a girlfriend on another continent right?

i too, could see that happening, but i would have preferred it to have ended with Ike having more then one possible outcome, namely not leaving for no explained reason. I could see a game involving him on tellius while still keeping true to his epilogue, though it would be tremendously difficult. imo

That's true. But pairings like that are some of the best ones. Seth-Eirika in FE8 comes to mind. It's kind of the same thing as Ike-Elincia. I got Ike and Elincia to an "A" support in Radiant and when nothing happened, I was very disappointed.
