i love my '01 Townie! whenever i tell people what i have, they laugh and say its an old person car, but they dont know that its one of the best stock sleeper cars out there! i love watching people's reactions when i fly by em on the highway and beat em off the line at traffic lights! old person car? no. the perfect stock sleeper car? definitely
Nice video except for the extended opening shot of the yard. I have a '99 TC as a second car. Great city ride. When the time comes, I may replace the air bag suspension with coil springs.
Is it wrong that I'm 15 & I want a Town Car as my 1st car? I absolutely love this car. I love the amazing comfort & how soft & pillow-like the seats are. The back seat isn't a place I actually enjoy compared to most other cars. The body on frame design really strengthens the car & is a safe car that could protect you in almost any crash. Overall, I'd rather get this than some sports car :)
do you think lincoln town cars are better than cadillac devilles? or which company do you think makes or have the best suspession on the road to travel i am buying a car next week and is between these two company brands which one do you think is the best speaking of comfortability on the road? god blees"""" thanks,,,,
You can tell young people have been dumbing down their taste from all sides. Just take a look at some old school music comments down here in youtube and notice many youngsters saying their friends can't have good taste for music. This goes from music to cars this bad taste the new generations have.
hey nice vid bro, i have a question. im gonna buy my first lincoln town car, it is a 2000 town car. the dude says it has 260k kms miles but how many normal miles is that?? i never understood kilometers in miles. is it worth buying?? thanks man.
@sick509, Thats only about 162,000 miles....for that engine 4.6 V8...its just getting warmed up! Well provided that its not like abused to the ground. But as long as you feel it runs good and idles good...then you will be fine! and parts are cheap and VERY VERY easy to find. Because that engine is used in all Crown Victoria police cars, Crown Victoria Taxi cabs...and there are 100's of thousands of those. Also all grand marquis and used in the Lincoln town car from 1991 or so to now. _BOGAR!
im currently a stockbroker and driving is such a hassle that im thinking of getting the ewb for this and having my maid chauffer for me. and im not kidding. i have a maid.
@GodlessMartyr666 They basically are buckets just made to look like a bench. If it was a true bench, it would be all one piece. The setup in the Town Car is pretty much optimal-- the comfort of a bucket with the spaciousness and practicality of a bench.
@ElectroGhandi ye I've ridden in an 04 grand marquis n I gotta re iterate that I don't like the setup of a panther platform vehicle w.o buckets On the other hand I have a 98 Lincoln Continental which is basically a ford taurus / mercury sable and I have to say the front buckets with floor shifter are quite comfortable, unfortunately the rest of the car is in rough shape and I've crashed it ... time for an older m5!
im getting a 2002 lincoln towncar soon. its gold.. i am getting it from my grandpa ( rest his soul, he passed last sunday ). it wasvery well taken care of alwaysserviced on time. i will post a video on it when i get it. also i have a question do all the signature models of towncar have heated seats and a cd changer i know the car i am getiing has a cassette player but i do not know if it has a cd changer.
Nice car! I rented a 2007 Lincoln Town Car in 2007 and fell in love with these big land yachts. I've definitely been wanting to add a used 2003 or later TC to my fleet since then.
Love these TC's in this light ice blue and the light french silk (gold) colors especially.
What about fuel economy Im wondering cause Im 19 and would like to buy it as my new car and don't want to brake the bank filling her up every week know what I mean ?
Hi again Bogar. Inside & Out absolutely beautiful. Especially the AFTER photo of the engine & compartment. How did you do THAT? Man you are a miracle worker. I bet you could even raise a dead car FROM the dead. No, seriously, I am really impressed. I had to sell my crown vic hi way partol car. The next one I get will not be a fleet vehicle but one the owner kept up. I think you cannot buy new crowns but the Mercury Grand Marquis is still around. I'd appreciate your advice grandmaster. @spiderc00 aint really made for speed its more of a luxury car, but you can put enhancements to make it faster. but in all honesty it aint made for speed.
Hi my father own one of these cars a 2006 same year. But his is a Designer Series. I got two question my father is wondering do you leave the engine running when you clean it or leave it turned off. And what is the diffrence of the singnature series and designer series.
I drove a Deville twice. First time I tought it was a good choice but a few years later, when the second that was given to me... I objected and tried to get a Lincoln but they wouldn't give it to me. In 2008 They would force me again in a deville - but then I payd extra for a Ford Edge (wasn't enthousiast about that eather) So next time I won't rent a car without a written confirmation it will be a Lincoln Town Car!
@fp3shb Agreed. It's not so much you see the youth driving cars with actual class. And when you do, don't you smile knowing that at least they have *some* taste? At least they aren't driving riced-up Civics!
Sweet car man! i was just wondering.... what are in the armrests in the back doors? it looks like they open but i dont know because i dont own one hah but thats about it

Oh trust me I am....I love it more than anything, it is such a good truck and fits me perfectly. I guess what I meant was it is the complete oppisite of a town car.
Man!!!.... I tell ya Bogar!!!.....that vehicle looks like one "fine" ride if i do say so myself....yea I know what lincolns are like because my grandpa always drove that brand when he was still around.....Nice car man for sure!!!! :)
