at level 10 you get the option to fly (1 minute at a time) and only in fly zones although you can glide down stairs and things on the minimap it also displays the altitude your at and wheter or not you will die if you run out of time or just take fall damage, i love how indepth some of the things in this game are makes it all the better :)

Pretty sure these are the Collector's Edition wings only- the AP wings (earned through Abyss Points and able to purchase at level 40) are *MUCH* larger and have what looks like armor plating on parts of them.

My first mmo flying was perfect world and honestly i like it o.o ill fly sometimes just for the hell of it xD. So i agree it doesnt ruin anything it makes the world EVEN BIGGER :D. AND COME ON! its FLYING! With wings!!!! thats just awsome in itself lol. So ppl who hate this just shush! X3 And gliding on the wind i like that very realistic. Especially to a huminoid body. I think that humans could glide on currents but not full out fly so nice feture :D. Btw is it a spacific class that flys?

If you mean that floating black thing, that's not a glitch its floating Aether(If I remember correctly) and you're only able to harvest it while flying, used for crafting and the like. :3

yes if is flight timer ends it ends after 1 min if no buffs or item to help have more time on it unless you have those wings in this video that give a good flight time bonus

If you run out of flight time, you have one chance to open your wings close to the ground so that your fall distance is reduced and survivable, but you have to get the timing right.

As someone who played Pre-BC WoW, I should know how much potential MMO's have for fun, I stopped playing WoW about mid-way through BC just because it became so mundane with the raiding, this game looks like it's more fun when you're playing with others, rather than just some tedious task.

Got my pre-order for the collectors edition already. Been in one beta weekend event; and the next is coming up in a few days.

Before that plaid on the Chinese beta; with a translated client. This game is just so fluid it's ridiculous. I can see getting lost in this game very easily. More so if you have friends partying with you.

im not playing wow, but having wings at level 1 is just stupid. Wings should be a class talent instead of a plain spell can be use by anyone. A rogue with wings, how would you like that. they should have flying mount instead imo. otherwise its will be a failure compare to lineage.

lvl 10 = just about to leave newb zone, does that really matter between 1 and 10? about aerial combat, u have to spend talent points to enhance the flying efficiency doesn't that sounds op as a ranged class? well my point is, the wing stuff and mmorpg just can't blend together, it ruins the class characteristic if you know what i mean.

From all the reviews coming from OBT and CBT plus critics so far it has been positive and even some say this might be the Korean MMO to take the Western market by storm. When WoW came out its simplicity of a game play coupled with the easy lvling was unrivalled and the only option in the market would have been Everquest II which wasn't easy. Aion will not take the crown from day 1 but it will in the coming years and up dates. It will be improved over the years. Give it time.

LoL you forget that NCsoft brought us games such as Guild Wars, Lineage 1 and 2, Tabula Rasa, City of Heroes, City of Villains and soon to be Aion. Now NC is a company with 6 outstanding titles. Yes 6 and all these are MMORPG. This is a company with experience in MMORPG. If I would trust anybody to deliver a good MMO then it would have to be NC instead of Blizzard. WoW died a while ago, even Everquest 2 was better than WoW but it was complex and people took WoW for its Easy shit.

The other NC titles are good and better than WoW the only problem is that NC doesn't publicise their games as much as WoW does in order to create that hype. However Aion is the only exception that I see. Most or almost all the time they tend to rely on the fans to spread the word relying little on promoting it themselves. Blizzard however invests a lot on its games in terms of promotion and even though WoW is over 5 years old, we still see it on TV being promoted.

I believe if any game can rival WOW, it's gonna be Aion. As far as I can see it, they've already dominated Asia and won game of the year in Korea. MMO players know about Aion, and once the reviews are out, it will steal from WOW.
