I watched this live, and thought this was an ambush of sorts. If you watch the end of the part 5 video, and Beck brings up these "supporters", Ron Paul's face freezes.
Then after the commercial break they come back and he gets grilled about these stupid theories and is completely the gentleman. I was sitting in disbelief. When he said it was "bizzare" you can hear the confusion in his voice, he even said he didn't know what he was supposed to say. It was unfair, in my opinion. You KNOW he had no idea it would be covered.
This was not an "ambush" as people claim. Glenn told Paul that he was going to ask him these questions, and he gave Paul a commercial to gather his thoughts on what he was going to say before answering. Beck even said days before the interview that he would cover this issue (9/11 CT's) and not just throw softball questions at him. These were not easy questions, and I think the whole thing went rather well.

I support Ron Paul, but I do not support the nut jobs. I am open to conspiracy theory, but I am don't believe the supports should be campaigning on it. I think it alienates people, and might be part of the reason we are not getting to votes we where hoping for.
I believe in non-violent protest as Ron Paul advocates. I think the ideas that Focoist911 is preventing Ron Paul's campaign from reaching critical mass. I agree that a peaceful protest might not cut it, but we are not at that point yet.

I think I found the Digg you mentioned, there are others who state why he voted against the bill, including taxation of the internet and government regulation of the internet. In essense, the bill was actually the opposite of net neutrality so in voting against it, he was voting FOR real net neutrality.

Glen Beck is a fucking asshole to even associate the 9/11 stuff with Dr Paul.Why does he have to answer for this stuff?
I do think that we are not told the truth and the US government seems to have soemthing to hide by being closed on the issue.

I'm agnostic on this particular point, but if Ron Paul hasn't even heard of the idea that the WTC 1&2 planes were remotely controlled and flown into homing beacons, then he's clearly not qualified to answer Beck's questions. Perhaps someone can give Paul the phone number of anyone on the Patriots Question 9/11 website.

Thank god Glenn Beck made that clear. There was some abuse about that before by some news people. Saying that Ron Paul is ridiculous cause he associates with 9/11 conspiracy morons etc.

i started listening to GB on the radio as a result of travelling between PHX and SD regularly for a year. Cut to the chase... GB is a self-promoting religious zealeot. I was a fan up until today (12/19) based on his god-based radio and his totally BS interview with RP. GB is bad for the United States.

IQ has nothing to do with the ability to recall facts, instead it is the ability to solve problems. knowledge of history doesn't mean you have a high IQ.

I watched this live, and thought this was an ambush of sorts. If you watch the end of the part 5 video, and Beck brings up these "supporters", Ron Paul's face freezes.

Then after the commercial break they come back and he gets grilled about these stupid theories and is completely the gentleman. I was sitting in disbelief. When he said it was "bizzare" you can hear the confusion in his voice, he even said he didn't know what he was supposed to say. It was unfair, in my opinion. You KNOW he had no idea it would be covered.

This was not an "ambush" as people claim. Glenn told Paul that he was going to ask him these questions, and he gave Paul a commercial to gather his thoughts on what he was going to say before answering. Beck even said days before the interview that he would cover this issue (9/11 CT's) and not just throw softball questions at him. These were not easy questions, and I think the whole thing went rather well.

well why not question rudy giuliani on his compromising the lives of hundreds of thousands of new yorkers on 9/11? His immorality regarding his personal life which is unacceptable for the post as president, his acknowledged support of the NAU. he actually owns a company behind the pushing of the super highway. he undermines u.s. sovereignty and asks to be prez? where are those questions?

Giuliani wasn't being interviewed, and I really doubt Beck would give him an hour interview like he did with Paul. I was looking forward to this question, and I'm glad Paul cleared the air about having any association with 9/11 CT's who actually think Paul is on "their side". He's not.

My point was, why would he ask such a virulent question, repeatedly answered, which placees ron paul in a box, regardless of how he perfectly responds. why doesn't he do the same to other guests. why not ambush his other guests with such innapropriate subjects that don't pertain to the candidate.

I still think the question was entirely appropriate and relevant. It's not like they spent the entire hour on the subject, just a few minutes. Watch Beck's show once in a while and you'll find he does not go "easy" on any of his guests.
