  • A fire blanket, wet towel or fire extinguisher would be great. It makes sense to have at least one of those near the kitchen. This was a reenactment to help answer questions for an insurance claim. The house used was going to be torn down. So we used it and the fire department used it for some testing and practice.

  • there is thing called a fire extingisher

  • PUT THAT OUT!

  • There was a tablespoon oil cooking oil and the plastic spatula.

  • what there was into the pot?

  • Probably frying oil. It takes a while to spontaneous ignite, but when it goes, it goes fast!

  • That's why it pays to have a decent Fire Blanket in the Kitchen or if you don't have one a Damp towel will do.

  • attreacy, do you have a demo of an electrical fire?

  • The "spark" was a camera flash going off. Thanks for the question!

  • What's that flash around 00:23?
