Wow. Paul Hester was a brilliant drummer, and should be remembered for that. If you've never experienced depression like that yourself, or had to watch a loved one deal with it, you shouldn't comment on it. How very lucky you are to have never had to deal with mental illness. People who are judge others for things they can't control are breaking one of the basic rules of the Bible. I'm guessing that won't get you into heaven, if there is one.
Does anyone think that each of the crowdies are showing their passions at the start of the vid? Like Neil shows a collection of old wind up toys, Paul shows his yoga possitions and socialising over the phone and Mark shows his ford. It seems that they like in a kiddies show in tell where they introduce themselves as individuals rather as a whole band and then Whamo! They are Crowded House
I find it more than ironic that the drummer pretends to put a gun to his head and shoots himself, then in real life he hangs himself some years later. This song was a watershed moment for me. Looking back it was the first time I realized I had depression. Still here but. Fuck you Leanne there has been plenty more since 1986
@chad450f If Heaven is made up of all these self righteous jerks who think they are spiritually attuned enough to tell who deservers eternal salvation and who doesn't, then I'm thinking Hell is sounding like a much better place to me. No one truly knows why a person is drawn to suicide, but making snide comments about the departed only makes you sound like an ass. I'm sure Jesus would approve of your smugness!!!
