  • such a good quality video, but a 240p video...triflin

  • I´m very fond of my D60! I´ve got a 50mm lense and the kit lense. Was hoping to buy the afs 35mm, what do you say? is it worth it ???

  • @NikonTom28 i have it and it is very useful

  • I'm using this DSLR camera and it's very cool!!! Love it!

  • does the nikon d40 or d60 take videos?

  • @deumic141 d40 does not..not sure about d60

  • @deumic141 I have the D60 and no it doesn't take videos.

  • The D70/D70s were so much better made than this. I don't even like the D80 and D90 anymore. The D700 is okay, and the D70. But that's me, maybe that's a subjective opinion.

  • i find its slow shutter speed disappointing tho.can a lens affect the shutter speed?thnx!

  • yeah it all depends on the lens, the kit lens is just for a schmatte

  • I have a d60, and now sometimes wish for a d80, bracketing is the main reason.

  • d60 is good camera????

  • can i already see the picture after i take it or ill just see it after i transfer it to the computer?

planning to buy dslr for the first time

  • its shows it to you automatically right after you take it, you can veiw all your pictures on the camera

  • Can someone tell me what makes this better than a D40? And I don't count the dust reduction/air flow thing important.

I heard the menu is faster. But the slower flash sync speed is a disappointment... Why the hell would they make this one slower...

  • 1. actually 1/200th of a second is not bad, if you have to fast of a flash sync you lose background if its at night time. but i also was kinda curious on this subject.

    2. it does more FPS

    3. 10.1mp instead of 6

    4. the package comes with a VR lens, which helps at slow shutter speeds.

not sure what else is different google dpreview pretty indepth stuff there.

  • Got one- love it

  • Got it! awesome camera!

if you consider to buy one- get it.

  • d60 is very friendly camera, easy to use, dual dust system, and great image quality

    i waitining for mines ^^

  • I get some great pictures with my Nikon D50 and Nikkor lens.

  • should i get this or the d80 wuts the main difference?

  • Should i buy the nikon D60 ??!

  • hell yes

  • yeah u should

  • this is the dslr I've been looking for!!!it awesome man!!i have to get one!!!and thats a must!!!

  • omfg!!it genius!!!!!!!!!this will do me good in highschool and college...

  • OMG....Sooo much better then Rebel XSi but jus can't afford it. :{

  • Really? It's better? And the D60 is about $200 cheaper too!

  • Nikon D60 give you a lot of opportunities in digital photography. For instance, Set the first image you want to fall in place, out of Nikon D60 camera range, if it's not

already. Create a key frame for it at frame 0. At frame 120 (four seconds), move the Nikon D60 image down to the set. Create a keyframe to lock it in place.

  • Where did you guys get your D60?

  • Try NikonD60-com

  • I work in a photoshop so i just ordered one from our supplier :)

  • got mine from Harvey Norman

  • The Best DSLR

  • Nikon D60 is extremely wonderful and professional DSLR Camera. Often in photography and video studios, you can use Nikon D60 for added interest on a set. Use basically a filter, or plate with a shape cut out of it, that goes in front of a light to only allow so much light to pass through.

  • NIKON D60 - NICE DSLR DIGITAL CAMERA.

After the NIKON D60 images are mapped to the polygons, be sure to save your work. You'll still need either to apply a digital photo to the cyclorama set or to use a computer-generated texture. For now, simply set the set color to a soft beige.

  • Greatest Digital Camera - Great Image-Quality - Just perfect 9.5 points from 10.

That's all it takes to get your Nikon D60 slide show underway. The beauty of something like this is that in no time you can build the flat polygons you need for each digital photo. Once you map a digital photo onto the polygon, you can replicate it through instancing and use it repeatedly throughout the Nikon D60 scene.

  • Eh, i dun get wat u said T_T pls tell me! It sounded interesting to me, since i'm a nikon d60 user as well.

  • Nikon D60 is just wonderful
