@gumifymybubble Two words: "fan service". Ash and Pikachu are practically the mascots of the anime. If they left, the anime would probably become less popular. I personally find it crazy that he's still in it. They reset his age back to 10, even though they say it took him a year or two to get through Kanto, and he's still an immature trainer.

@LightStreak567 true very true it would explain the coma theory. i just think its stupid that a 10 year old stays like that i mean i understand when he started his journey but after years?!?!?! thats why i never really got hooked on it ash just ruined it but I LOVE PIKACHU HES ADORABLE!!!!!!!!! if they had pikachu setting off on journeys like getting interested in different pokemon sports and the trainers he meets it would be more productive.

@bookercreator That's another reason why I stopped watching the anime. Ash doesn't take what he learned from experienced trainers seriously, like Drake of Hoenn's Elite Four. If you've seen that episode, you'll know what I mean.
