  • why is it that in the face of collapsing socialist programs (spain, greece, portugal, CALIFORNIA lol) due to socialist obligations. Libertarians always go after defense spending? and never take a stand? Im against senseless wars, but clearly ww2 needed to be ended. Do we just close all overseas bases? collapsing socialist systems (germany, france etc), would tariff wars and changing alliances factor in? I love austrian economics but Libritarians lose my with this. and anti jew shit. just sad

  • great video! sharing on facebook!

  • Well said and straight to the point.

  • Cantor went to israel and pledge his allainge to israel. Cantor zionist traitorist scun.

  • Cantor is a NeoCon "Progressive" statist putz of the Highest Order.

    Cantor is SCUM!

  • Great video. Some of the stuff Ron Paul has been saying for decades. Too bad the media marginalizes him and main stream needs media to tell them who to vote for.

  • If Southern Avenger was not on the opposite side of the voice-marketability spectrum as Alex Jones he would already have blown up. Maybe he needs to yell into bullhorns and smoke cigarettes for decades.

  • @tbmagis I love the sound of Jacks voice! Such excellent analysis as well.

  • Come now, why should one let facts get in the way of a good narrative paradigm and be muddled by things like or logic and reason..?

  • Southern Avenger has tiger blood.

  • The Federal Government takes in Tax Dollars from the Citizens of the 50 American Nations, but can not afford to let go of any Tax Dollars unless they are going to Jewish Bankers or Defense Contractors.

  • @m3phi570ph3135 Agreed. There is a major difference between Republicans and conservatives. Most Republicans these days are big government neocons, and Ron Paul is the only true conservative.

  • Look forward to seeing you in the Paul White House.

  • VERY WELL DONE, SIR.

  • Great commentary!!

  • Something in the water (does not compute) yet we still keep on drinking the water

  • @ChameleonLost88 Of course not, we're too fucking busy with Facebook, smartphones/tablets, shitty reality shows, base/foot/basket or any "ball" sport, and whatever else to be bothered and see what's really going on; except for the for the few. Question is, when is push gonna' come to shove? When is the greater majority going to "wake up"? Everything's alright though; as long as we can watch the "Sitch" chill and Jeter swing a stick for $50k a whiff we'll just assume everything's okay.

  • I'd take Republicans more seriously about budget cuts if they actually addressed the elephant in the room that is defense spending. Alas, they don't. Which should indicate that most don't really care about the debt or deficit. :(

  • States rights are non existent. States should be allowed to decide if they want their state taxes to go to war or not.

  • So you children of the world listen to what I say

If you want a better place to live spread the word today

Show the world that love is still alive you must be brave

Or you children of today are children of the grave

  • @ryanshaunkelly YEAH!

  • @ryanshaunkelly Yes. Yes indeed.

  • I heard a good joke the other day, the punch line was the federal government was going to prioritize their spending

    _

  • It'd STILL be more than what most other nations spend COMBINED on defense. When you spend way more than all other nations combined on something, either you have a REALLY big problem to deal with, or much of it is just being wasted, and you're overestimating the problem. In this case, it's def. the latter.

  • And I'm so GODDAMN tired of people saying, "Well, we don't spend even HALF of our budgets on the military." That MAY be true, but SO WHAT. It's STILL a significant portion. $700 Billion is NOT an insignificant number, even with today's huge budgets. We could CUT the $1.6 Trillion deficit down to just ONE TRILLION (still large but more manageable) if we limited our defense to, say, $100 Billion a year? That's not too much to ask, right? $100 Billion for intel and defense?

  • @whoo689

lets cut that by 700 billion and raised taxes on top 2 percent and they said that wud add another 700 billion and thats 1.4 trillion dollars from 1.6 trillion ,now add spending cuts to that figure and that looks alright how come these right wingers say that wont help its not possible its not enuff its not worth trying what the fuck ever .

  • Have ANY of these Republicans even ANALYZED empirically whether or not a huge military budget REALLY makes us safe?

...Or is it just another neocon article of faith that "big military budgets=safety", but big WELFARE budgets somehow only equal "inefficiency" and "waste"? Yes... because helping regular people survive economic downturns like this is 'wasteful', while blowing shit up in foreign lands to fight weaklings makes us safer.

  • A $700 BILLION military budget just to 'fight terrorism' is what I would consider "panicky", to say the least.

  • @whoo689 We spend a trillion a year on war. Google that and ron paul. Politifact agrees, a trillion a year. All sorts of tricks make it seem less, for instance our nukes are maintained by the dept of energy. Supplementals (extra budgetary bills) are inevitable. Some estimates peg the cost at $1.2 trillion. Depends on how you calculate it (interest on the debt accrued by war expenditures for example).

  • A terrorist is a terrorist, plain and simple. Yes, we should protect ourselves from it, but it doesn't require irrationality and national panicking.

  • This doesn't even take into account all the other FOILED plots that never even began to get off the ground.

  • Why was the underwear such a moron that he couldn't even successfully blow up a plane (not that I WANTED that, god forbid)? Instead, he panicked and got caught, including by passengers themselves. The Times Square bomber was no better at it. The Hassan guy did what some could probably describe as 'terrorism', but that's only because he INFILTRATED the military beforehand and made his superiors and countrymen think he's patriotic.

  • If they're so "powerful", why has America YET to have an attack since 9/11??

  • I'm sorry, but I FAIL to see how "al Qaeda" is REALLY any more dangerous than, say, the IRA. Sure, they may have a little more training in bombs, guns, etc. than conventional, domestic terrorists, but SURELY most other terrorists aren't THAT much less dangerous. The idea that "al Qaeda" is SOO MUCH MORE CAPABLE of attacking the U.S. than anyone else with the same amount of terrorism 'expertise' is just absurd. Let's end hte fearmongering.

  • If anything, now IS the perfect time to "skimp." After all, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan seem to be winding down, and hopefully we'll be out of there in the next few years (as much as possible, anyway). Hopefully, we can also quit this Predator drone bullshit and quit acting like DOZENS of alleged terrorists halfway around the world "MUST BE KILLED OVER THERE" when they pose no ACTUAL threat (at least not yet) over here! And all the other BS that goes with the "War on Terror."

  • How is cutting back on a military budget that more than DOUBLED in the last decade "skimping"?? What WORLD are these neocon morons living in?!

  • HERE! HERE!! Well said

  • Love it Jack, BTW, nice see you yesterday and I am glad you work for Ron Paul now! You will help push him over the top!

  • Another excellent video, Jack.

  • Even more ridiculous are the people that think a hurricane is somehow an economic boost.

  • @MagnusIan Add to the list, people who think war is economic stimulus...

  • Comment removed

  • @MagnusIan Yeah it's not at all, just think of the economic impact of NYC pretty much shutting down for a day. That's probably billions right there.
