I have RE5 Gold Editon w/MOVE comp. My MOVE controller won't synch up with navi controller -EVER. -any ideas?

Both controllers had charged initially for 7hrs. Navi won't synch up in XMB or in-game. The red status light only lights up for 2-3 secs then shuts off. I tried charging both controllers for another hour, no difference. Also tried synching them while both charing in USB-to-AC adapter. NAVI refuses to synch. -Any ideas?

@GamingGotrolop okay i got it now. To synch, motion controller has to be plugged into PS3 USB port, now it works.

About controller layout, is it possible to change the button assignment? Using left thumb on navi is brutal. Having to re-learn button assignment is drastically affecting in-game play and accuracy.

To run using the MOVE, left thumb on navi using D pad and X in the corner.

Pain in the ass.

Am going to try again, just incase. If controls can't be configured, then the MOVE isn't ideal, unless the controls can be re-assigned like the Dual Shock3.

@Husbeyin I'm not sure the question you are asking. You can play as either Chris or Sheva (that would be 1player mode. The A.I. or CPU as some might call it, plays your partner.

I own both PS3 & 360 and i gotta say even though the PS3 has the obvious superior machine and technology for this "style" of gaming..I sold my Wii and more than likely won't be getting these peripherals for the same reason. All guns, all challenges, all camos. the only thing the Wii version lacks is Kill cam, and voice chat and 12 player online. The Wii has 10... That's pretty much the very beginning of the game. If that's all you played with the move while recording this video then I can see why you didn't have the hang of it. You should have waited til you were more used to it. I've played through all the chapters and dlc chapters on Professional with the move and navigation controller. I think it works better than the dualshock 3. I can even whoop ass in versus mode online with the Move.

this would be the one thing that makes resident evil5 WORSE, if possible i thought it hit rock bottom, i tried the ps3 move it is so SO SOOO delayed nearly a second between when you move the controller and when the game registers it, this game requires the brain capacity of a 2 year old even still that near 1 second delay feels like 5, truly unplayable and im not just talking about resident evil even the demo game that comes with it is a disgrace, i would rather get a wii, but don't get either!

It does track using the ball. In fact it only uses the gyroscope and the digital compass to track the movement. Trying hiding the controller behind your back you can still aim perfectly because it resets the aim everytime you press the Trigger button the Move controller.

Just an advice: Don't stand around and try to aim with your motion controller holding in the air. Sit down on a couch or bed or something and put your hand on a pillow, works wonders compared to standing with this shit.

@GuyofSpades not being a fanboy here, I have it and it works perfectly fine at night with no lights due to the orb. it will only have problems if it isn't correctly calibrated by the user. (though start the party would be pointless with no lights on at night)

I do believe that it will be better for a lot of people as aiming is just a quick flick of the wrist as opposed to a quick motion with the thumb.
