It's one of Americas best kept secrets that a lot of the "locals" in Hawaii (very few true Hawaiians) are like the KKK in reverse - they hate "Haoles" (white's equivalant of the "N" word). It's a shame....but it's very real over there and 99.9% of the mainlanders don't even realize it.
