He's not trying to sound like Dylan: that's what Robert's voice usually sounds like. Of course, you still have to keep in mind that not only him, but BRMC as a band have a very clear Dylan influence (just listen to Mercy or some of the stuff in Howl), but I wouldn't say he's trying to copy him. And I wouldn't even call this a cover, it's not like he changed the song. He's basically just singing it. And it's a really nice rendition, even if he does fuck up here and there a few times.

This is Robert Levon Been, Turner was a stage name to stay anonymous because his dad was a famous musician.

He always wears those shades, regardless of teh Dylan cover happening here. I'm surprised he's not wearing his trademark flat-collar leather jacket. But oh well.

Levon is doing what a lot of people do when they play someone else's song... attempting to 'sound' like the original artist's version or the most recognized recorded version. Lot's of folks do this.
