Even though he was West Coast...the sound is deep South(Ghetto Bass Miami)and P-funk(East Coast/Mid-Atlantic region) He sampled 'big bang' and "not just knee deep' even before de la soul did it for 'me, myself, and i'. So that would make you, 14 years late and $14k in the hole.

When I hear this 1979 funk track it makes me smile, I can still see everybody at the parties and the skating rinks back in the day groovin' to this, just enjoying living life and appreciating some of the funkiest music ever recorded, this band's leader is a living legend, where would music from back in the day had gone if it weren't for George Clinton, his bands were the standard for funk, and this track is certainly one of the funkiest from the 70's, this music is timeless.
