Microsoft is finally being held up to the light as the world discovers that no one company needs to hold the exclusive rights to the PC's operating system, or business applications for that matter. Sun's recent missive reminds us that innovation beats litigation. Listen up, Gates and Balmer. Even the US Supreme Court is getting involved; the current implementation of American software patents stifles innovation at a great cost to Society and business.
