  • i made a ring tone from this!

  • what are the rims??

  • how much is complete1jz in japan?

  • Me & my 7M are pretty damn jealous.. I can't til I have enough money to even say "I'm aiming for a 1J"

  • hey mate im looking to put one fo these turbos on my vvti 1jz,how did you find it?what size rear housing did you use? also can you remember what rpm you got full boost?did you dyno it all ? cheers for any info

  • What size/brand wastegate were you running? Sounds similar to my 46mm HKS external

  • god damm!! love the spool!! the bov!! wheels spinnin and deff this supra nice car man !!

  • car sounds really good...it sounds litle bit diferent with this turbo than the t78

quick ? THO,wich turbo do u like more and how much power can u make with the s258

  • That is pure mechanical sex noise.

  • at 0:39 it sounds like a dam jet engine starting up.

  • Omfg that spooling is so loud

  • @SubyImprza ??? I'm not sure what part of new York your from but the boys up in NYC roll in 9 sec street hondas..so either your some faggot who pretends to be someone he's not or what, but nyce1's in NYC will shut you the fuck up.

  • Dang, sounds like that little turbo has like no lag at all!

  • is this a 90? tobad i couldnt 1jz my 88...DAM IT!

  • @EnjukuRacing70 u can put any supra engine in a 88'. just needs different motor mounts

  • @SANTANA1deep If you live in new york city then you will know what i mean...

  • Whats the size of the S258 in mm ?

  • 58mm inducer. The car now has a T78 on it. Which is a 66mm inducer. Much more top end power.

  • @enslaved87 Thanks!

  • @enslaved87 how much did ur set up cost?

  • I wanna drive it : )

  • sounds similar to mine but i got a 31/2 all the way on my gated soop.

  • god i love that whistle

  • YEA!!!!!!!

  • the best music around

  • i love the mk3.. i own a 92 and wokring on 400 hp ..=]

  • same but mines 90. :D

  • AMAZING!!!!!

  • NICE!!!!.. Sounds like clutch slips from 1st to 2nd but jz's famous for spinning tires when rpm is high and u shift quick...

  • Yeah...first gear lasts all of 1/4 of a second. spins away 2nd and 3rd and starts hooking in 4th.

  • it all depends on the tune.. 7m's can make boat loads of power, but 2jz's have been known to make twice as much as the most powerful 7m's... still 1,200hp is no joke

this is a really badass 1jz supra btw

  • hey bud that power level you're talkin about is up to 1,600 but yeah!!!! love my 1jz

  • omfg 1st to 2nd pull orgasmic sound :)

  • thats sick bro!!!!

  • the more i listen the more I like ;)

what exhaust was it again enslaved?

  • Home made 3" from the turbo back to a megan racing 3" carbon mufler. Cheap - but sounds pretty neat.

  • @enslaved87 yaa dudee all jz's sound amazing! sick fkn car im jelous as FUCK xD

  • dont like 89's...

the tail lights, the front nose, and the spoiler =/

i like my 88 way better.. buttttt, yours sounds pretty frickin powerful lol.

  • It's a 91. I've had 5 Supras and 4 of them were pre-89's. Personaly I think the 86.5-88's are hideous.

  • Well, then quit buying them..?

plus, the 7mgte is way better than a 1/2jz, imo..

mine does pretty damn good so far.

  • You're out of your mind. The 7m is a good engine and part of me does miss it's exhaust note. But - it is inferior to the JZ series engines,

  • exhaust is badass,

the engine block is much stronger, and you can push the stock internals to well over 450 rwhp..

  • Agree'd Ive ran around 500rwhp on a 7m. But a JZ engine will take 700-800rwhp on a good tune all day long without issue. The 7m - not so much.

  • @enslaved87 not tru, a 7m can make power just as reliably, as long as u do it right, but thats just like any other supra engine... if you dont do it right, chances are its going to fail anyways.

people under estimate the 7m greatly, once the headgasket issue is resolved, its as bullet proof as a 1jz/2jz

  • @enigmaPL I agree. if you put forged internals in a 7m and do some good head work..it will be an animal. but 500-600 RWHP in a street car is one damn fast car and will destroy any gangster kind in his crappy civic all day. :D

  • @SubyImprza wait, whats a gangster have to do with this Supra?

  • @SANTANA1deep if you lived in new york you would know what i mean

  • LOL mate r u serious? 1jzGTE/ 2jzGTE will whip any 5mGTE / 7Mgte engine any day

  • guess your tune sucks ass

  • i guess u ened to shut the fuck up

  • That's a pretty bold claim. I know a few 7M cars that will walk your average 2J...

  • True statement. A 2JZ is a serious engine lightly modded. Don't sleep on them! Cause they will wake you up. lol.

  • No the 1jz was never released in North america nor canada. 1jz was a japan release in the jza70r with a handfull making its way to europe.

  • what about the non turbo series? what engines did the mk3 supras in other countires hav then>?

  • MK3 Supra (1986.5 - 1991)

    1986.5 - 1989 had only the 7M series.

    7M-GE (3.0L Non-turbo)

    7M-GTE (3.0L Single Turbo [CT-26] )

    1989 Brought the re-styling of the mk3

1990 Introduced the JZ series while keeping the 7M series as well

    1JZ-GTE (2.5L Twin turbo)

1991 MK3 production ended for world wide consumers, stayed in Japan till 1992 until the MK4 introduction in 1993 (2JZ-GE, 2JZ-GTE)

    Hope that helped. lol

  • don't forget the 1jz-ge, and the 1g-ge, and 1g-gte

  • Lmao to the noobs

  • 1jz isnt just japanese, it was availible in north america as well. The mk3 supra came with: 7M-GE (3.0L N/A) , 7M-GTE (3.0L Single Turbo), and the 1JZ-GTE (2.5L Twin turbo)

hope that cleared a few things up =P

  • no. the 1jz-gte was never realeased in the north american market.

  • i think it was available to canada.... definitely not usa... it didn't pass emissions

  • okay, well i just bought my mk3 supra, its an 87 and i was talking to friend and he asked what motor im ruunin, and i was like "its the 7mgte" and he replies, okay, so its the 1jz.. now im semi new to the supra world, so is the 7mgte the same as the 1jzgte? just different terms or is he just misinformed?

  • 7mgte is the turbo engine (3.0 L, single turbo) 1jz is the turbo engine that they put in the supras in Japan (2.5L, twin turbo) so different engines

  • okay thats what i thought.. thanks.

  • I sold my supra, wow what a mistake

  • that is a sick sounding supra bro...thats the 258 with the .85ar turbine? sick sick sick lolz

  • aye. thanks.

  • more vids please lol

  • Looks like a very fun street car...;)

  • damn great bro. Must be real quick for around 600hp to the wheels which is a real nice amount. Thx for posting. Really would love a in-car view tho.

  • beautiful man! sounds sick!

  • WTF!! where was i and why was i not invited to the making of this vid!!! we could have got some vid of it pulling away from the 2JZ32 :)

  • lol...it was a spurt of the moment kind of thing. We might shoot more this weekend.

  • sounds really nice man.

  • I appreciate that comming from you zazzn ;)

  • more inside shots and lets get a sneek peek at the motor plezzzz!!! 1J is banging

  • eh...a fair amount. It's got 680cc injectors and they are at 85% duty cycle. So guess would be around 600 at the wheels or a little less. I'll dyno it this summer sometime.

The engine is a 1jz, s258 turbo, haltech e11v2, spec stage 4 clutch, 3" exhaust etc... WAY too much to list.

  • damn how much power you putting out?boost? mods?
