What sort of things are done to the engines in these rigs. To keep them running at high rpm's and of angle pitches. And did I here a few diesels in this video?

its the gears in the diff very low engine runs at high rpm but the wheels turn very slow. like usaly a car running 4000 rpm will go about 80 km/h but with these running 4000 rpm they go about 20- 30

Yes I know about the gearing in the axel's and the low ratio transfer cases. I should have explained I was wondering how they keep the engines lubricated and cooled as it runs at vertical angles. Thanks for the explanation anyways.

me and my welder buddies put together a cheap ass 4x4 beefy ass roll cage, harnesess and the rest, 5.7 chev. got some rocky outcrops near my house in this forest. first time we tried got all the way to the top of this 40m rock hill and it flipped over, we rolled 13 times and smashed into a tree both walked away!!! god didnt save me but the roll cage did. good times
