Finally! You agree w/ me! DRMs make me want to buy less & less music. They invade my privacy, monitor every single part of a song I listen to, my turntables can't read them, monitor every single I do on my computer, & I have to buy software to remove it!

think about it: if you got a cd, legally or not, and it was made by capital records, do you have to play it with a capital records brand CD player? no idiot (the drm idiots, that is), YOU PLAY IT A CD PLAYER THAT SOUNDS GOOD AND WORKS GOOD!! If you currently have a DRM protected song that you have the licence for but are afraid of losing the song because of a system crash or so... DRM can be broken with a nifty little application called "TuneBite". What TuneBite does is it loads up the DRM protected song, then records the song (most times at a higher rate, eg: 3.8x) and saves it as another file (you choose what file type you want it to be converted to) and it is ridden of it's DRM hell. :)

I purchased some of Itunes new DRM free $1.29 tracks and they won't open in my Windows Media Player. They have 256 bitrate but I thought that I could also open it in ANY player. Maybe my PC-it is acting buggy.
