Buddhism ( also Buddha) accept that God is exist, but Buddhists didn't worship God. They worship Buddhas ( many Buddha). why? Is that backward of Buddhism?
In Buddha history told that When Buddha didn't want teach people, God appeared telling him teaching people. Those mention that God knew Buddha thought, God knew the future, God knew everything. Why do Buddhists reject God to worship a human prince Buddha?

I did the Buddhist ceremony alone in my room. I did it in front of a picture of Buddha and recited the words in the language of Buddha.

Is "Jukai" specific to a cultural sect of Buddhism?...I took refuge by participating in a "3 jewels" ceremony; Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha...as well as agreeing to follow the 5 precepts rather than 10.

@skeptikon1 It's the same thing... but as for the number of precepts, that might differ depending on the sect? I know Korean Seon (Zen) ceremonies have 5 precepts to be undertaken
