  • First I was like "WTF", then I was like "OMG this is fuckin' cool ! " ! Just discovered Sacred Reich and HAPPY to see them next year at Graspop Metal Meeting!

  • Funny as hell.... as I was listening to this I was looking at the Chili's Mother's Milk Wikipedia page, and just heard them talk about that very album lol.

  • fuck man, these guys were the best back in the day- they had a lot of the same influences as a lot of us- but SLAYER still rules!!! haha \m/

  • Such a chill song, then back to the metal

  • I lost the majority of my respect for Sacred Reich when I heard this song.

  • @joeyjoah Man, the message of this song sure was lost on you, wasn't it?

  • @zaraak323i Obviously. Because I'm a metal fan, and a big fan of Sacred Reich, but I don't like a lot of other music. Metal is my favorite by far. If a band is a metal band, I don't see where they would decide to tell their fans NOT to listen to just metal. If more metal bands did this stuff I wouldn't care as much, but they don't.

  • @joeyjoah Hey, that's cool, I'm a die-hard metal head as well. But being a musician I can appreciate most other music as well. Randy Rhoads was one of the best metal guitarists, but if he wasn't a fan of classical music, would he have been as great as he was? Same thing goes for SR, if they didn't have these other influences, would they be as great as they were? I actually gained a lot of respect for them showing their influences like this. I was surprised the first time I heard this song.

  • The message is tolerance!

  • ihate rap but i like other . stuff not as much as thrash or metal in general . i like grand funk railroad . yes i said it.

  • Sacred Reich thrash metal? u.u only surf nicaragua e.p.

  • se me callo sacred reich a

  • Who knows any funk bands like this?

  • @vef444: One of the best funk/alternative Bands is RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE. R.I.P. Che Guevara

  • @vef444 Infectous Grooves! Its cool stuff. Its got some of the guys from sucicidal tendencies.

  • @thisisformusiconly Wow...thank you.

  • @vef444 Is that sarcasm?

  • @thisisformusiconly No, i just checked that band. It's awesome.

  • @vef444 Oh, well then. no problem dude.

  • badd ass is fucking right, I was in a local metal band herein St. Louis & got the privilage to open up for these guy, One of the high points of my music carrer so far! They were down to earth & a fucking shame they dident recieve the noterity they deserved! Its a crime against humanity! But fear not, were getting ready to put it all back together & blow the local scean on its ass!!! Keep a look out & a ear open for "HATELOVE" well be in the studio by the new year & in your town soon after!Hippi

  • "Mr. Bungle

    is so very cool

    so don't be

    an ignorant fool

    there's so much music

    for you to choose

    so don't just be

    a metal dude

    it's cool fool. "

    reminds me of Mr. Bungle

  • So...I like most of the bands mentioned in the lyrics, but hate this song. Huh.

  • what the fuck is this? this ain't metal!

  • Squish used to sell me beer at 4:30 in the morning and ring it up at 6:00-coolest cat i've ever met-shoulda made it big, must've beeen your controversial shit and your undying refusal to conform, but rather be the corrosion of conformity-Peace from X-Tempe,Az

  • Fuck close minded metalheads! This song rules! Open your fuckin mind!

  • era tunes. Listend to a lot of the `old` stuiff today, wish i was still 18 in body and not just my mind!......................... Wot the fuck am i on about i am 18..................... and i ant gona get older no matter wot the `wife` wants. Toooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnaaaaagggggggggggggggeeeeeeeeee! Not realy, ill do wot she says and have to like it. 38-39 yearold, bitch slapped and brocken.

  • Anyone know who did the horn arrangement? I like it.

  • this song is really good. I m into metal. I dont listen to faith no more or sting. but i do listen to other shit than metal such as classical music. I love tchaikovsky for exmple and beethoven. for all of u metalheads - never limit yourself to heavy metal. But then again, i think it is important to be choosy and not be gullible and listen to every shit they give u, coz there is some real fast-produced horseshit nowadays (especially shit in the mainstream)- this counts especially for musicians.

  • 20 years past and still like this song a lot

  • Don't mind the song, hate the lyrics... very condescending and can be easily linked to what's wrong with a lot of the metal bands and fans around these days.

I like Lady Gaga much more than this btw, though she's one of the few (2) non-metal artists I listen to.

  • "I love the Chilis, freaky, uplift, mother's milk" YEEEAAHHH!

    Great Song!

  • I dont know who are some of the assholes that respond to these songs. But they are pissing me off.

I hope its not the same assholes that are pulling shit off of youtube.

  • great Song! ;-)

  • i listen to everything from Aldo Nova to Atrophy . this is the song that made me realize that theres more music than just metal. i listened to Run DMC & The Beasties before i got into metal. then got introduce to Metallica's Hit the Lights from Kill Em All. the drumming at the beginning amazed the hell out of me. but like they said in the song........ variety is the spice of life

  • so many metalheads despise this song but i think it really speaks to me, i love thrash and shit but i fucking love ska and other shit too

  • @panteradeth nah, metalheads dont dislike this song. wannabe metalheads dislike it. I consider myself as a metalhead and i fuckin love this song.

  • @DeatgMagnet Fully agreed. I have met a few wannabe metalhead on youtube who complain me for listening to nu-metal crap like Sepultura's Roots. Wow, I mean wow. They have none knowledge whatsoever. Calling Fear Factory a nu-metal band speaks for itself. I listen to quality whatever the genre is but my heart belongs to rock/metal.

  • @DeatgMagnet you mean those chavs that always talk about some obscure black metal band that only 4 or 5 guys heard of? I love those guys. they're my friends.

  • @Daftajest No those black metal guys usually talk about famous black metal , bands because those ppl only know famous black metal bands and hate everything that isnt metal, but Sacred Reich just shows us that u can wear black and have long hair, but still can listen to rap, techno, blues, jazz, rock, metal and shit. I hate those ignorant metalheads who only listen to metal. My ebglish may not be good atm cauz im fuckin drunk

  • @DeatgMagnet Agreed. I used to listen to pure metal, but I listen to everything except that racist rap that has "YEAH NIGGA" every five seconds.

  • yeah

  • The singer says that, if you like just metal. And dont know anything else. Then you are a loser and a ignorant fool. "there's so much music for you to choose so don't just be a metal dude it's cool fool."

  • Try to know more. Learn more. Listen more. Be free. With no borders. Your mind shouldnt be shaped just in one direction.

  • I like this song, of course I like better the other songs from this album, but I listen this song thinking its not Sacred Reich, just like a funk band or whatever this kind of music is called.

    well, for me its fine.

  • i can't believe the comments that say this is the worst song of all time! so i guess that means that anything put out by britney or lady gaga is better?

  • do you act know when this was released ..... ????? . it music if you like it listen if you dont love ly button says esc. . music n life for livin , live it love music,.it cool fool ....

  • eh okay song

  • don't take the lyrics so seriously, just enjoy the fuckin' song...

  • so dont just be a metal dude

  • @cash4sin you are fucking ignorant

  • Just read the lyrics, dude. Don't be so narrow minded, metal isn't everything in this world.

  • well said

  • lol

  • @cash4sin close minded cocksuckers like you dont deserve too listen too music whatsoever

  • no...more funk thrash probably...

  • Thrash Funk

  • this is great!

oh I forgot.. it's sacred reich.. EVERYTHING they made is great :D

  • except this!

  • no, I love that too ;)

  • SHIT..¡¡

  • If you like this song you ought to check out Scatterbrain.. the greatest metal parody band of all time..lol

  • You gotta check this fucking beat out, dude...

  • yeah (8

  • and this isnt a cover? great! 5/5

  • i love metal and to see a band do this is awesome man fuck all you faggots who cant take a joke and thinks its not metal to like other styles

  • this is rocks

  • Shit??!?! Fuck you man..

  • SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU FAGGOT

  • i agree with this lyrics we should listen to so many music not just metal

    funny crazy song

  • i played this on my boombox when i went to baskin robins

  • I wanna get an old school boombox and blast VIo-lence and other badass thrash all day. Just walk around in the city and blast music :D

  • wheres hyades?

  • They didn't exsist when this came out...

    :P

  • lol

  • so don't just be

    a metal dude

    it's cool fool.

  • listen to Death Angel Act III if you like this (i'd call that record funky thrash metal)

  • yeah, not your typical thrash metal at all

  • HARDCORE SHIT! HEADBANG!!!

  • Sacred Reich jams. I used to listen to them a lot growing up in the late 80's and early 90's. This was just a fun song for them and a lot of bands would do this just to fuck around. This entire album screams metal.

  • this song is cool. its like funky metal.

  • OMG they sang a song that isnt metal now they nots KEWL kkkk?

    /sarcasm

  • this number is grat one

  • what in the flying blue fuck is this?

  • Riding the nuts of the funk rock trend at that time...look at us we can be like faith no more and the chilli peppers...

Everything these guys did after their first album was just lame and horrible shit.

  • duuuuude aren't you forgeting about surf nicaragua are you?

  • I guess...but that EP is wayyyy overrated...

  • not as good as Ignorance for sure but still good.

  • "Riding the nuts of the funk rock trend at that time...look at us we can be like faith no more and the chilli peppers..."

I have to agree with you on that score. I remember when those bands were just making it big and suddenly it was cool to like neo-funk rock or whatever. I borrowed a few albums from friends who had those CDs and STILL couldn't get into them at all.

People that accuse me of being "close minded" don't understand I would sit down and listen to something even if I didn't like-

  • -what I was hearing. That's much more than most people would do; it usually confirmed what I already knew---I liked what I liked and didn't care what was popular at the time.

The thing being is that a band starts out in a certain genre and tries to "mature" by either grafting on what's "cool" at the moment or infusing their music with something not in their nature, it doesn't usually work well at all. Of course people will justify anything their favorite bands do out of hero worship.

  • You have an awesome channel, btw, TBOS---the Leviathan stuff was cool; I like Chris Barnes as a thrash vocalist better than in Six Feet Under. My name here is a play on the UK band Witchfynde, you may have already heard them.

    Cheers! Chris

  • This is the worst song in the history of mankind

  • Why? Because a metal band decided to show people that a band can play whatever type of music they want, and don't have to stick to Metal.

  • in surf nicaragua it the middle part is from "Wipe Out" - The Srufaris"

  • SUUUUUURF IS KEWL :D i love that song

  • hahahaha! This is funny! Totally different from what they normally do

  • Does it have an application in topic of girls?? :) Don't limit yourself to one girl!!! heheheh

  • lol I hear ya

  • although i agree with the songs message, this is no doubt SR worst song ever lol

  • hehe nice lyrics! gotta agree mr. bungle is good stuff!

  • my only complaint about the video.... no Faith No More or Mr. Bungle picture!

  • EVERYONE should listen to this song and read: we might learn something! Great great song with strong lyrics!

  • Come lick it off and be my dairy queen.

    LoL! Classic!

I need to get this album again.

  • man i am getting old I MISS THIS SHIT!!!

  • it's cool fool

  • Then you totally missed the point of the song. "31 flavors" means you have a selection to choose from. Don't limit yourself to just one choice.

I always thought it was cool that they had the balls to go off the beaten path and do something that was unexpected. SR was and is still a great band. Funny how accurate "The american way was 20 years ahead of it's time.

  • FUUUCK. NOOO. WHAT?

  • @blackened2k5 I totally agree with you.

  • God I'd forgotten all about this great band! This song is one of those that came out when Faith No More and the Chili Peppers started getting really huge and all the traditional metal bands panicked a bit and had to show that hey, they could do 'funk metal' too, whatever that is. 'Get The Funk Out' by (spit) Extreme is another example.

  • Waited sooooo long for someone to upload this!!!

    THX so much!

btw: I agree with U and the Lyrics, too!

  • sweet job
