he's just re-learning how to use his voice in the best way possible. When we are kids we have a natural tendency to use the diaphragm so we talk, cry and sing properly. Once we hit puberty, the changes in our body make the muscles and bones involved in the production of the voice grow, therefore we have to re-discover how to produce a healthy sound with our vocal chords and our new body. Give him some time and he'll be singing great again ;)

Shaheen had a wonderful voice when he was 12 and it's still wonderul today, it's just different. As he ages it will become the voice that God meant him to have as an adult and he will always have a following. Yes, his voice has changed from when we all first heard him sing a couple of years ago but I think he still has a great voice. The other thing he has going for him is that he sings with feeling and you need that to be successful in music. I for one, wish him continued success.
