I'm sorry to hear of your experience. I too have been in that type of cast and probably will be again in the near future. Still recovering from a bad car accident a year ago. Tired of the surgeries, I will opt for the cast this time, no matter how long. Crutches and casts are second-nature to me now. I don't think a thing about it anymore.
Poor thing, looks like she is new to crutches and a big cast, very much like mine. She almost destroyed her toes swinging her cast of of the van.

She does very well on crutches and that huge cast. Mine was just like her's, same leg, and then after eight months my leg was taken off at mid-thigh.
