I don't think she has the least change. Remeber that she and Hope are "the kids" of the game, since Hope is still a kid and so is Vanille - not physically, but mentally yes :D

its a really cute scene. I know how hope must have felt at (SPOILERS ALERT) the end of this game when she becomes a crystal. I do know that in FFXIII-2 he probably is going to "protect her legacy" like Light explains. Honestly though, I thought the Hope + Light relationship was full of understanding. Even though of course Lightning is more of a woman than vanille, and shes pretty badass at times, I think they worked perfectly with eachother, cause hope is somewhat as mature as lightning is.
