I think Lucas needs to stop trying to make up new, young characters to appeal to a new demographic. As Harry Plinkett pointed out in his review of the prequels, there's so many unnecessary kids in the movies, because Lucas was trying to do the same thing. But kids don't watch Star Wars to see a bunch of little kids, they go and fantasize about being an ADULT Han Solo, or Luke, or Leia. When was the last time you saw a kid pretending to be Anakin from Episode 1?

George Lucas said it himself. her being 14 in her debut, that would be 3 years after the begining of the war. according to the guy on Kamino, the clones were about 10 years old when Obi Wan showed up. so Rex should currently be around the age of 13. so that has to be an age error of some kind.
