Because of course, a video of one guy without backing in a non-performance situation, running through a selection of isolated riffs and exercises in order to guage the tone of an amp relating to the whole tonal spectrum and range of expressive techniques available on a guitar, should ALWAYS be judged only on the musical merit, and not on the assumption 'it is what it is' at all.
