I had to take my laptop ("Adael") In 2 days ago while I worked so I wouldn't miss it... I too couldn't imagine going very long with out it.

Get well. You might have a case of "election fever" and it'll go away after Tuesday. I guess the new Macbook is of much better build quality because everybody's old Macbook is breaking down.

Thats a common problem with the macbook's palm rest breaking, I had the same problem with mine too. But I upgraded to the macbook pro's, much better build quality.
