My Chickensssss! Laying hens D;

not to be rude or anything, but are they battery hens because one had a broken leg and you act like you just got them so,, : ) are they?

No, they are not. And the broken leg one just got hit by some large "fruit" that grows in my country when it fell from the tree. Since the tree is so high the impact was very strong.

ah sorry, no need to be sorry, I was just saying wasn't mad or anything. xD And well, not all chickens are the same there are 3 different categories, the ones that are good for laying, the ones to eat, and the other one is a mix, which might be good to eat and kind of good to laying eggs. According to wikipedia they are dual-purpose class, means good for both.

im attualy still in the progress of building a perfect chicken coop for my chickens (obviously) and its getting on well,, but since then i had to keep the ckick in my bedroom to settle in... XD havin the time of its life..!

You should if you can and if you got the time to take care of them. They are really nice pets, plus you get a little extra from them. xD (I mean eggs.)

Yeah, I think it is. Because they might not recover and they might not be as productive as the others. I hate that. But thanks god the broken leg chicken from my video is almost full recovered. ;D

got my new Rhode island reds from a battery farm.. they love it here!! i think one has worms tho because of thier diarrhoea and over eating... whawha : ( but were taking him to the vets so : D

Thx!! i would make another vid but im just not that interested in wimdown movie maker ,, i wanna make a proffesional vid of chickens to make people understand what thier eating... chickens are my favourite animan so when chicken is served up in front of me for dinner , I would eat it so then after i know that it died for SOMETHING... i would never kill a chicken... nice talking to u!! any new vids coming from u lately..?

Yeah, I started raising chicken like a year ago, and I wouldn't kill one either. But I would eat it as long as I don't see them get killed. o.O; And no video yet but I want to make another about them!

I started to raise them a year ago but I always grew around chickens specially hwne I visited my grandma's house. When I was a kid I used to help my aunt killed them but I couldn't stand it! x_X So I never ate those chickens that I saw get killed. o.o

if I were you id eat those chickens that you saw die... otherwise it died for nothing and goes to waste .. I hate seeing someone killing a chicken as so do you but also when people chuck away their Sunday roast chicken leftovers.. the chicken NEEDED THEM!! ... ; )

lol i made an obsticle course for my black and red rooster and it made it through the last few times... but i dont want to mention the first time... lol... i would never hurt a chicken , thier my favourite animal..! iv even made a quiz about them on bebo...

i lv ur chickens,, they're AWSOME ,, and iv also got a white laying hen of my own named chickenwings (my youtube name) . they're eggs are much better than the shop bought ones!! which the shop bought eggs have a yellow oak,, the freshly layed ones have a orangy oak so you can eat them as soon as they come out!!! chickens make great pets..! if my friends dont come out or over to my place then i build something with wood for my chickens..!

Thank you! And yeah they do make nice pets. o.o I want white laying hens, but can't find them. =/ Need to keep looking around to find a place to buy them from. And what do you mean by sparkling silver eggs? O.o By the way do you have any pics of your hens? D; I would like to see them. =D
