@GamesterX69 Electric cars a nice idea but the batteries can only be recharged so many times before you need to buy a new one at a couple grand each. They also use heavy metals that have their own environmental impact. I don't know of any electric car that gets anywhere even close to 600 miles a charge. Not to mention they have to get their charge from somewhere and that's coal plants. We would need windfarms the size of states to produce enough energy for all the cars in America.

@GamesterX69 I'm no expert on Solar Panels but my understanding is they use Silver to conduct the electricity. There are almost 100 million houses in America. Not counting apartments. That's a large amount of Silver that has to be mined. How Stuff Works estimates it would cost $32,000 per house to provide enough Solar energy for the average home and that's without counting for charging cars. Like I said Solar is a nice idea but we are not at the point where it is the answer.

Those countries that benefited the most from the pollution have greater flexibility to adapt. Poorer countries would therefore be hit harder for our prosperity.
