@walmic1000 that horrible! its the same from english as well, heaps of rivalry and hatred. just moved here from australia. we'd talk to poms that moved there and one said he'd never been to scotland 'cause they couldn't play soccer,' then we come here and told my husbands family we were looking at properties in england, and they're like 'why would you wanna move there?' so weird, you're all on one big island, seperated by boudries set hundreds and hundreds of years ago, get over it.
@roxcharlie i know its some months now since you replied to my post, but im still a bit perplexed by it.....it seems like your being critical of me for being upset that i was subjected to a lot of abuse because of being english.....and you suggest that I should get over it?.... how about making the same suggestion to the scots?, ....your reply doesnt make sense, .......interested by your use of the word 'pom'.....you might want to research its origins,,....don't suppose you will though.
@walmic1000 I'm agreeing with you that there is 'racism' between poms and scots, both ways! pom, in australia anyway, apparently comes from 'prisoners of her majesty' in reference to the convicts sent there. It can be used nastily, as in 'whingeing pom' or a general description of the english. My family are of english background and all call themselves poms. Didn't say you specifically should get over it, but all people in the UK.
like the quality of the video....what time of night is this as there is no traffic...grew up in perth and miss it...and were you hammered when you did this?
