I like the concept and the motion added to it. This was really good for those that didn't know how to make a logo.

You should also make one that shows how to improve the quality of your logo, by styling.

I know I never used this program, but I used Adobe Photoshop, and I've made alot of very high quality stylish logos.

But I think when making a logo, the designer should go with the approach like you said, but also add some styling to the font/shapes to make it look even more in tune.
