im also looking for a head light for the same bike so it looks better cause i bought the bike for 300 and a month later blew the spark plug out but wasnt my fault the old owner stripped the threads

i ran my bike into water was wondering if you could find me a running motor for a xr 200r 2001 honda mine ran for a week then died i was told the rings went and its 180 buck to get rings and piston but i think i should get a new motor

@koolforever1 Hey thanks for watching! Yeah that would be sweet... always thought about making a shifter cart! It would work... just have to do some modifying for the clutch and shifter. Like to see it! Take it easy man!

i have an XR 200. nice bike alil awackward compared to the slender new bikes. brakes suck when they get mud in them. good bike though had mine for 3 years. its more of a beginner bike for adults.

@hightide17 I've always been pretty happy with mine... I havent rode to many of the newer bikes. I had a 05 TTR225 and that thing was a pig.... real bulky and heavy!

@eligh54321 Yeah they're real tough bikes... probably my favorite out of the collection, just an all around good bike! Yeah I've had a quite a few Xr 80-100's and always good bikes, kinda weird I've never had any Cr's. Honda's run forever!

I had 2 XR200Rs back in '06. One was an 86 other was an 88 I believe. Never got to even ride them. Was about finished rebuilding the 86 and they were stolen.

whats happening to the bike when it bogs down climbing a hill. tends to lose power and kills.

@audrapriscilla Sounds like you need to adjust the float to allow more fuel in the bowl.... but not too much where it leaks sitting flat. There is alittle tab that the float needle rides on, bend the tab down to allow alittle bit more fuel. I'd give that a try... when your at an incline the fuel that is in the bowl isn't getting to your jets.
