Interesting I hear a lot of people saying that beginners should get 125 or a 250. My father has been riding for my whole life (I'm 24) and he says to get one that matches your body ratio. The bike's power and torque can only be used if you make it use it. So wouldn't getting a bigger bike sooner teach you control? (My first bike was an 86 Kawasaki 1000)
Great video man thanks you've answered my question on releasing the throttle when shifting gears...I'm about to get my bike in a few hours and I'm nervous about it Im going to start attending riding classes
I had a quick question, say im in the 4th gear and need to come to a stop. Can I downshift as I'm braking at the same time? Like slighty using my front and back breaks, while i hold in the clutch kicking down the gears. Or how would you do it?
Nice easy, explanitory video. You should make more videos like correct braking, turning, and other techniques while performing them as well. Like your way of choice for video, I need some more tips on riding. Looking forward for more videos.
I am 14, but 15 next month, even thou I know how to somewhat operate a motorcycle, mainly my dads 1986 Suzuki GSX-R 750. But soon after turning 16 or 17 I am aiming to buy a Kawasaki Ninja 250R, since i heard it is really good for the beginners/starters.
Nice vid., helped a lot and will help me in the future when the time comes to riding my first motorcycle:D. 5/5
@bandito010 --- it depends on your skill level. If you do not have an experience at all, start with a 250cc engine. Then upgrade after a year to 600cc. Prices of the motorcycles varies. It is expensive here in the U.S. as well.
Right after breaking must I quickly press the clutch or will the bike turn off?
