for you who believe this you guys are blind a peice of metal traveling at 70 kilometers an second (43 miles a second plus wind drag would probably be around 15 to 20 miles per second) it would be im possible even in a toyota tundra so this video is fake and is actually a toyota commercial so think how real a commercial would be its as real as the snuggie being a chick magnet
they did same shit when we had an explosive in north york (Toronto) at the propane plant, its not funny. even though wasn't the same idiots.these are just another copy cats.
considering a meteor as small as 1 ton can make a 30 megaton impact explosion caused by the planet exorbing the energy, anything that close to spot of impact (SOI) or within a couple hundred feet would have been vaporised....instead of bickering over if it is real or not people, turn to science for your answers lol...later folks

Those of you who think this is real your an idiot and those of you who think he made this your an idiot. it's a toyota truck commercial that just has a tint over it.
If you know anything at all about impactors from space, you'll know that a rock big enough to survive the trip through the atmosphere and actually hit the ground (this almost NEVER happens)would be as destructive as the largest nuclear weapons ever tested. The dust kicked up would be enough to affect the Earth's climate. A one pound piece of space debris is worth a lot because it would have fallen to the Earth millions of years ago and a rock that big would be rarer than any diamond.
Good job with the effects. No it's not real. A chunk of plagioclase feldspar traveling at terminal velocity and impacting 50 meters away would certainly kill you. If you doubt me then look up meteor craters and their respective impacting meteors and compare their sizes. Last time I checked there was only one recorded case of someone being hit by a meteor, however with the growth of the global population that may have changed.
@stellarnightskys A friend of mine has been very lucky twice because a tiny fragment dropped into his garden it was too small to do any damage but it was still hot when he found it, another dropped in the same place a year later. He still has both but of course had they been the size of the Alberta meteor then I suspect that the whole town would be goneand of couse the surrounding countryside
FAKKKEEE pause at 0:09 the sky is still super dark and look where it hits like 50m away from them... look up the real ones from news cameras...side note what the shit is that guy doin in the start!!!

Unless it's made of metal, then it can hit make it through the atmosphere and not wreck shit up. But it's still rare as hell.
