Stevia is a natural sweetner. It is available in most grocery stores. I used to use Aspartame. I experienced temporary parylisis in one leg on and off. A friend said to stop using Equal and see what happened. I never experienced the paralysis again.

I try to warn people in coffee shops, etc. and they just laugh at me, or give me a blank stare. I abhor stupidity! If it's a chemical - it doesn't belong in your body. What's so hard to understand? I know what you're up against! I recently finished working in the child services section of a county council in South Wales. Mostly ladies who were very pleasant to work with, but so close minded! Watched pregnant women drinking diet coke, ignorantly poisoning their unborn babies with aspartame!! Handed out 5 copies of Sweet Misery and not 1 person looked at it! Told them to research it on the web, but not 1 person googled it! Too busy googling Avon!! God help the children!!!!

Is there any real realistic way to combat and avoid all these additives in our food and water since they are so prevalent every where? I mean if you get a filter for your water you probably will still somehow manage to ingest one of these many other chemicals along the way.

you'll have to get in the habit of reading labels on your food that you buy, stay away from these toxins mention in this video as well as MSG (Mono Sodium Glutimate) and try to find a pure source of water (spring or well water) this is all we can do for now... but the best way to avoid all of this, is start growing your own food... and even that is beginning to be impossible these days with Genetically Modified and Terminator seeds, Thanks to Monsanto...

i live in the town where tate and lyle has there chemical resaerch and development factory and some of the smells that come from that area is so bad they had to demolish the houses and rehouse the people that lived in the they turned the land into an industrial estate.tate and lye dont make sugar anymore but they still fuck about with chemicals.the name of the town is greenock in west scotland

Also from what i undestand, a new healthy sugar came out STEVIA, that is not dangerous, and no calories, its actually healthy, the FDA went balistic, because Nutrasweet and splenda is a huge industry, and Stevia would leave them bankrupt, now Stevia is mainly sold in healthfood stores or in organic departmen.. its all about Money..

They are now putting aspartame and splenda in all Juices, which i mainly buy for my childeren, I was horrified, that they are putting this crap in grape juice, etc etc, saying no sugar, also in canned foods like canned fruits, i heard aspartame from a holistic doctor, causes little holes all throughout the brain. I have a friend of mine whos mother is addicted, and she forgets all the time, her daughter begs her to stop and she wont.. sickening.. read labels!!! :(

I think that these chemicals they're putting in these sweeteners is like acid to the brain... I had a cousin recently that died at 33 from an apparent DOD... but her husband stated afterward that she was addicted to diet drinks and she did have tumors on her face..there was an autopsy done but it was ruled out to be a DOD..

That's a good way of putting it since acid burns. Excito-toxins "excite" neurons making them very active - so active they burnout. The nerves really are being burned since they are being eaten by the chemicals. Thus, the holes in the brain.

Scientific American December 2007 had an article about fluoride. It was a whitewash, but what it did state was fluoride causes teeth to brittle, and turn yellow. The article also mentioned how fluoride literally eats holes in the brain. That's enough.
