I've seen this guy's interviews with guests who have contrarian views. He's not bad as a moderator, but this outpouring of bilge says far more about the Arab state of mind than about the West. Some commenters here reinforce that negative impression. They talk about pissing on America and the West. Well, at least for them that would be a change of pace. The big difference between the West and the Middle East is that there is a free press in the West, whereas Middle Eastern press are only free to the extent that the country they happen to operate out of, allows them to be. How much free press is there in Saudi that criticizes the Royal Family ? How much free press is there in Syria or Egypt that can openly criticize Asad or Mubarak. That is the difference between the West and the Middle East.
