  • Please get rid of this clown parading as the lead singer of Yes.

  • Saw them at the hob in mb sc.

jon is now touring as " the voice of yes"

    HE IS

I USED TO SUPPORT THESE YES GUYS BECAUSE OF ALL THE CRAP OVER THE YEARS, MOST CAUSED BY JON....

BEEN A FAN SINCE I WAS 12 IN 1983, HEARD THE YES ALBUM ON 8 TRACK. NEXT EXPOSURE WAS ABWH....

ASK RICK, ASK TONY, ASK BILLY, EVEN ASK TREVOR, (BOTH) AND PETER, THERE IS NO YES WITHOUT JON.

YES FANZ ARE DONE WITH ALL OF THE CRAP, TOUR AS THE REAL YES, OR STOP, QUIT ALL OF THIS. WE JUST LOVE THE MUSIC.

  • Excuse me - I put the incorrect link - It will lead to a trailer for a DVD of a real Yes line-up -

For those who like the imitation, to each your own - "Yours Is No Disgrace!" Peace

  • Everyone has the right to their own opinion, but IMHO, as great as Chris, Steve and Alan are, and they are, they should have respect for the namesake and toured under another name and not charged Yes prices to see a tribute band singer, however well he can imitate the VOICE - this band lacks the SPIRITUAL ORCHESTRATOR - one Mr. Jon Anderson - he cannot be replaced - there is no Yes without him, just as their is no Grateful Dead witrhout Jerry or Led Zep without Plant.

  • jvaljean69...

What you obviously meant to write is that, rather than calling themselves Yes, Howe and Squire should instead more accurately refer to themselves as "Yes..we have no ethics, integrity, or morals; all we have is a despicable, unquenchable lust for MONEY!!!

  • this is the HAMILTON PLACE show !!!!

I was there too !!!! man what a show it was too !!!

  • Attendiamo il ritorno di Jon Anderson, unico vero cantante degli Yes!

  • I support Benoit a hundred percent....BUT....Come back Jon!!!

  • sounds like jon anderson

  • excuse me this was on the metropolitan theater? in Mexico?

  • I am a huge Yes fan.......but I will never go and see this line up, it is not Yes without Jon. I have met Jon a few times now and he is a prince of a man. Now with Chris Squier sick I wonder how he would feel if Jon, Steve, and Allan went out on tour without him and got some flake from a tribute band to play his bass parts......with no feel in the same way Benoit sings Jon Anderson parts with no feel.

  • i saw them dec 15 in clearwater,fl they are better than i could have expected

  • I saw them twice-December 7th in Atlanta and on the 17th in Hollywood, FL. They sounded great. Benoit and Oliver seemed to have re-engergized the band. Benoit really nailed it esp. on CTTE. The band was tight and they seemed to be having fun. My only complaint was the audiences at both shows seemed a little stiff at first. I guess us middle-aged folks can't jump up and down screaming like we used to when we were teenagers.

  • I saw Yes last night at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. Benoit David did a great job in the role of vocalist. I think he has the vocal abilities that Anderson did twenty years ago. Oliver Wakeman was more subdued, but he can't be a clone of his father.

In any event, this new lineup was great. We finally got to hear DRAMA material again. That would never have happened under Jon.

The audience loved the performance - a lot of enthusiasm in the crowd last night & positive reviews afterward.

  • I'm a big time YES fan I went to the concert at the Times Union center in Albany NY. I did not know what to expect with all the controversy I have heard about Benoit David replacing Jon Anderson, alot of people on You tube said they were disappointed with the show.I have to say I was pleasantly surprized I thought Benoit David did a great job he sounded like Jon Anderson did in the 70's.I'm amazed that there was not a big turn out in Albany.

  • How very sad that Steve Howe and Chris Squire, once great musicians possessed of an incandescent creative energy that propelled them to great artistic achievements, have now descended the depths of mediocrity and self-parody to become leaders of a tribute band that pretends that it is the once great band known as YES!

  • Um, As I commented on another video, Jon Anderson announced this tour, but chronic asthma prevented him from touring. Why should they disappoint the fans? At least they have the sophistication not to bill themselves as "Yes", but as "Of Yes".

I saw them on the Union tour back in the day. Disappointing concert. Had all the members that ever played in the band all at once. I'd much rather see the virtuosos that ARE Yes by themselves in a venue such as the Louisville palace, as I am on Tues.

  • If they are NOT billing themselves as YES then why does Alan White have the Roger Dean classic YES logo on his bass drum ?

  • He seems to be ok (Benoit) but his pitching seems to be a bit off in several clips.

  • Thanks for posting, too!!E não é que este tal de Benoit David é um amazing singer (imita o Jon Anderson direitinho); só nos resta aguardar o Show aqui por São Paulo...

  • I just came back from the show and it was awesome!great to hear Tempus Fugit and Machine Messiah played live again after 28 years because "Mr. Anderson" refused to do any material he was not part of.Onward was great-they also did Astral Traveller, which also had not been done in years.I left during the last song(Owner...)but don't believe they did anything later than that in the set.

  • THIS AND EVERY OTHER SONG ON THE SET KICKED ASS. I think Jon over reacted a bit. Saying he felt disrespected and all.. you know what just shut up. What about Benoit David? He's an amazing singer (especially on "Onward"!) and he probably shit his pants and jumped for joy when he got that call from Mr. Squire. Not always about you, Mr. Anderson. I love you and think you're god, but I am a fair man.

  • Thanks for posting , I was there, a great show!

  • Sounds great for an impersonator.

Come back Jon the soul of YES.

  • One of my favorite..Steve's rule.
