Ustad Rashid khan is from Calcutta as all of us know and probably the best of the classical vocalists presently in the country and Sreya ghosal, is also one of the foremost playback singers now. Lets stop at that.

@pmathew1216 ....my indian brother....all muslims are not pakistani...we indian muslims belong here as much as any hindu christian or sikh belong....he is called USTAAD and is a Padma Shri....now i donno whether u know what it is...but there is no comparison b/w a USTAAD and a playback singer...
Thats wonderful singing from Rashid Khan.in the generation after Bhimsen Joshi he is the best singer. i hope he sings more and more and Indians hear him more.Shreya has opportunity to sing along with the legend. she is fortunate and has done justice to the opportunity.
ehhhh, good singing... dont really like the style though.Classical cant just be mish mashed with light sounds and english. i think to make a proper fusion track there is still a LOT to work to be done here.
Ofcourse what shreya said i completly agree with her. This song shoudl be heard by young generation and i m pretty sure they gonna just love it. The best fusion song i have ever heard is bhor bhayo.

@chiktehanif My muslim brother.......You need to understand that Shreya Ghoshal is a DIVA (which means in Latin a "GODDESS").
Shreya is no less a DIVA than those other supreme DIVAs like the (greatest) DIVA, Lata Mangeshkar, and the Greek operatic Maria Callas....
DIVAs like Shreya Ghoshal are far (far!) SUPERIOR, musically, to any Ustaad, Gustaad, or Bustaad that you can ever hope to muster.
