The fact that the occupy Wall Street protesters have been repeatedly attacked by police officers seeking to put an end to their protests indicates that they are too close to the mark for the comfort of the puppet masters who run America. Lynch mobs seeking bounties tried to silence the early leaders of the abolitionist movement, like William Lloyd Garrison, who was saved (oddly enough) by the police. They're talking about the media blackout before the past couple of days before the MSM finally started covering it. And some of the headlines you listed were posted after this video. Notice how even Al Jazzera can't tell us what these protesters want. That's why the media (and most people) don't take this group seriously. Signs range from anti-Wall Street, anti-pollution, anti-war, anti-prohibition, etc. If these protesters clearly define want they want, then people will listen and engage them.
