  • If this health care bill is so good why do the President, all Senators, all House Representatives and union members refuse to sign on to the plan? Until it is good enough the the people pushing this bill it is not good enough for me!

  • yeah medicare4all...the founding fathers you loon...You leftist loons all think health care in this country is a "human right". Do you think the American people should pay for health care to people exiled from their country living in tents and mud huts? What about human rights for people in those areas of the world? Get a job, work and pay for it YOURSELF!

  • So I guess this means you will not be collecting Medicare when you are old.

  • This Lying Video don't tell you the AARP is loosing thousands of senior citizens because of their disenchantment to that organizations corrupt relationship with the Democrats and pushing this government takeover in the health care system. They do not want rationed care and they know that is what will become of this corrupt legislation...

  • Medicare doesn't ration care.

  • medicare4all,

Can you help answer a question?

Since it sounds you know the ins and outs of the great medicare government plan why would they not pay for my mothers prescription she needed for her ovarian cancer? She died July 7, 2009 I'm so lost without her.

  • The Republicans put through the free-market style prescription drug plan, which is why it's a dismal failure. It's not truly a Medicare program, but rather the government giving money private insurers to sell Rx plans to Medicare beneficiaries with no real rules in place on what they should cover. If it were done right, it would be a real benefit rather than a givaway to private industry. So part D is really just like private insurance and is exactly why they should not be involved now.

  • medicare4all,

So you essentially are saying the Republicans caused my mothers death? Respectfully you are clearly wrong in your analogy I'm afraid. You response is a plastic bag full of water with holes on the bottom. Medicare was clear regarding my mother. They told her they would not cover the new drug that could help her. That is called rationing of care to. Actually it is no care. A free market system is always better than government controlling any private sector.

  • You may want to do more research on how Part D works. It is not Medicare, it is a private free market system under the guise of Medicare. Medicare didn't deny your mother anything, whatever private company she was buying the Rx coverage from denied it.

  • Medicare4all,

Well, all I can tell you is what you already know.

Medicare is going busted. A government run plan.

Social Security is going busted. A government run plan.

The Post Office is going busted. A government run plan.

King Obama said himself private co's UPS & FedEx are dong great compared to US P.O.

The majority don't believe in his Public Option. I'm sorry you won't except that.

  • I can tell you what is really obvious, when you have a member pool of only the old and the disabled, you are likely to have financial difficulties. When Medicare has a member pool consisting of everyone, it will be financially stable and we'd have plenty left to actually invest in our health care system and technology rather than lining corporate pockets.

  • I do not care to research part D. I don't believe in government care run system that limits freedom to participate in free markets. My tax dollars will take care of you regardless. It is a real shame to me that so many people like yourself believe the government owes you just about everything to survive.

This is truly us becoming a Banana Republic in the making where everyone is picking shit with the chickens.

  • I eventually bought the drug my mother needed since medicare would not cover it. I shopped many pharmaceutical manufacturers and found one that had an exceptional deal that I could afford. That is why a free market system is always better. You are seemingly one who just wants government handouts.

  • I bet you bought it out of country too. The drug lobby here keeps prices artificially inflated. Where health care is concerned free markets only work when the health care involved is elective. Again, part D is not a single payer system like traditional Medicare is. Part D is a handout to large private insurers. It and Medicare Advantage need to go as they are not true single payer systems that benefit the members.

  • To: medicare4all,

Correct! I bought out of country. That is called freedom of choice being able to participate in a global free market. reinforced by Bill Clinton's bill NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement)

I like freedom of choice as what seems to be the case with the American majority both Dems & GOP as the the Public Option is crumbling with Dems in control with 60% voting power. Majority not minority rules. Who cares what party.

  • Right and no one told you or your mother that you couldn't go buy health care even being a beneficiary of Medicare. It's a false argument to suggest that a single payer system would somehow limit your choices. The only thing that limits your choice is how much money you or your provider have to spend, which is the way it is no matter the payment system. cont...

  • ALL insurers ration care to some extent, some more than others, but this is not a valid argument for not providing a basic benefit to everyone. Private insurers have profits as their main motive, so it makes rationed care a higher priority, as you found out with your mom. Medicare does not have that type of motivation and with a larger and healthier member pool it would be a fine benefit and we'd still have enough to actually invest in our health care system rather than lining co pockets.

  • To make this abundantly clear: providing a basic benefit to all, such as traditional Medicare, would not limit choice in the least. You are still free to buy what it doesn't cover or even what it does if you think something else is better. You still have that choice.

  • I don't care how they want to package it. The people have spoken and they don't want it! This health care reform is a government takeover in disguise. This is so fundamentally against what the funding fathers intended when the constitution was drafted. And the liberals have been inching toward this for years. Right down to the curriculum in our schools.

  • The funding fathers? Is that like the insurance industry giving Rep Boehner 3.7 million dollars to try and stop meaningful reform of their corrupt industry?

  • Interesting....AND hypocritical.....considering the hundreds of thousands of our taxpayer dollars that ACORN and their subsidiary organizations have given to the democratic candidates campaign.....And now THEY are being investigated. And some-such as Barney Frank and others-don't think there is any impropriety. Well they certainly aren't going to open up an investigation when the rotten smell that airs is their own campaign contributions and it points right back at them.

  • Great video, going into my favorites.

  • What's so great about dirty corrupt unions spreading their lies and liberal propaganda to destroy our health care system? This government-run plan is all about payback to these unions who shelled out hundreds of millions of dollars to get Obama elected, and are obviously still buying him off. What's so great about that? Too many people were fooled by all the B.S. to get Obama elected and are regretting it now.... There's nothing great about that; it's just sad.

  • What a sack of hypocritical B.S.! Where the hell are the videos about the hundreds of millions of dollars in favors and kickbacks that Obama and liberal Democrats are getting from several special interest groups to push this government-run option to health care that Americans are rejecting in huge numbers?! This is pathetic! People don't want this public opinion to health care; and all the lies, slander and liberal B.S. these corrupt unions pull out of their ass, won't change the facts!

  • It is like a chess game where the dem's are making all the wrong moves. Give me a break. The dem's are using the AMA and AARP (an insurance purveyor) just to name a couple of special interest groups.

Also, dirty tricks like stacking audiences.
