Grivious is a brilliant stratagist and can pick up on weaknesses fast. Its not too much of a stretch that he would realise she is attacking where he was when he jumps and put together she can only feel vibrations. Then with a baiting system of jumping he could easily lure her to somwhere where vibrations are not that noticeable... Like oh lets say the desert she was compleatly blind in. From there game over
Sorry, you "implied" that she would hear him falling. Better? And no, they all had pretty much the same sized rooms throughout all the ships. It helps whenever the ship needs to be repaired. You'll also notice that not once have I said that Grievous knew any of that. It doesn't matter if he knows it or not, the fact still remains.
The reasons why I said that Grievous knowing about her disability is because if he knows, then he will use that ambush theory, I haven't seen him use any other tactic then fight head on like a samurai. The ambush might happen, but she isn't easily fooled on full guard, and I'm not sure if Grievous will go with that since It doesn't match the way I see Grievous's reputation. If you show me a vid that Grievous does a tactic instead of being the offensive type, then I'm with you on the ambush part.
@popprincess150 When Grievous made his "public debut" to the Republic, he used ambush and intimidation tactics. When the five Jedi were in a circle, he hung from the ceiling and waited for just the right moment to drop down in the middle of them, thus separating them. I'm pretty sure that counts as an ambush.
@skyalmond Even if that counts as an ambush, Toph is the one that always waits and listens before striking. She isn't gonna charge like that padawan, and unlike those jedis their only strength is numbers on close range. If it was Toph in that situation, she would already find him walking toward her and won't let him hang right above her. Grievous lunges, Toph uses the land to shifts herself away from the direction Grievous pounced at, then they both start fighting.
@skyalmond Well the current problem here is how will Grievous get close enough to defeat Toph. She's a fast counter fighter and everywhere Grievous goes the ground is a trap. Grievous charges/lunges toward her, Toph can just transport the land that she's standing on as an evasion move. The only advantage for Grievous is that he has to stay close to the ship for to even get close to Toph.
@popprincess150 Grievous wouldn't have too much trouble getting close to Toph. He's incredibly fast and agile. I don't think Toph has ever fought anyone ans quick and nimble as General Grievous.
@skyalmond Well, watching Toph throughout all of the series, she kicks butt without using up most of her potential. So it's hard to figure how much Toph is really capable of. Plus Grievous is a 7ft cyborg with noisy sabers. It would be similar to a oversize bee with that noise. All Toph needs to do is make a dust cloud to slow Grievous down or even stop him. Then when Grievous tries to fan the cloud out, he's open and Toph can use whatever attack she wants.
@popprincess150 That's exactly Toph's problem, though. She never uses her full potential. She doesn't have the mindset of a killer. She would never kill anyone, not even Grievous. The general, however, has no such limitations.
@skyalmond Killing doesn't make you strong. All Toph needs to do is incap Grievous by getting rid of the sabers, breaking his limbs, use metalbending to tighten Grievous's armor so he'll have a hard time breathing, etc. And who knows, maybe Grievous will accidently kill himself. Like Frieza vs Goku, Avatar Kyoshi vs Chin the Conquerer etc.
1) Grievous has a max of four sabers. IF Toph can get rid of one, he's not gonna let her get rid of the other three.
2) Breaking his limbs? With what? His body is 100,000 times stronger than steel.
3) Metalbending only works if Toph is in close proximity with Grievous. Toph's gonna have to get past those sabers before she can metalbend him at all. Not gonna happen.
4) The whole "killing himself" thing is doesn't seem like a good arguement. I could say that about Toph.
1. If Toph destroys 1, then she'll recognize that it's powered by earth (crystal) because she can tell what's made of earth. So she can destroy the other sabers on the inside.
2. Break his limbs by using the metal from the ship.
3. Yeah I know metalbending only works in close range, but when he's open/defenseless she can use metalbending for the final blow.
1) She can't see the crystals inside the saber because she can't see through metal. The only possible channel for vibrations to travel from the crystals to the ground to Toph is through Grievous, and he's 90% metal. And the only organic parts of him are in his head and torso.
2) He's not gonna stand still long enough for her to chuck pieces of metal at him, you know.
3) Problem with that is that she's gonna have to make him defenseless, first. See above arguements.
4) I'm not going to provide a counterarguement, because (no offense) that's a very silly arguement. General Grievous is a brilliant and merciless warrior. He's not about to "accidentally kill himself." Besides, we're not comparing the chances of Grievous or Toph accidentally ending there own lives. We're comparing the pair's combat skills in an effort to see which would win in a fight.
1. I said If Toph destroys 1 (breaks one in half) it reveals a crystal, and she see what she bends so that's why I guessed she'll notice the other 3 is poweres by mineral.
2. Obviously yes but Toph isn't a horrible shooter, and she can plan the ground ahead so where ever he jumps it's a deathtrap.
1) It doesn't matter if she figures out they're powered by earth. The crystals are surrounded by the metal hilt, and Grievous is made almost entirely out of metal. Toph can't see through metal. As long as she can't see the crystals, then she can't do anything about it.
2) Grievous is a brilliant strategist, and the idea of Toph outsmarting him is almost laughable. I'm not saying Toph is stupid, I'm just saying that Grievous has alot more experience than she does.
My response to 1 & 2 no longer exist, instead my response sticks to the previous idea of the dust cloud becoming a problem to Grievous and hit him with metal when he tries to fan them out. I concede Grievous having more exp. since he is a General warhero, but he's arrogant and 1 mistake may be his downfall
(Like in episode 3 of where Grievous could took the time to close his breastplate when Obi is down but choose to finish him off and Grievous end up dead).
@popprincess150 To be fair, Toph has a bit of an arrogance problem, too. While it's not as extreme as Grievous' arrogance, it's still there. And I don't think Grievous could've just closed his chestplate back again. When Obi pulled it open, it looked like a bunch of bindings or something came flying out. I think he would've needed a replacement, if he had survived.
Ya she's a little bit arrogant because of that Earth Rumble arena(Similar to WWE or WWF). But I doubt Toph will get cocky against a 7ft unidentified cyborg.
Probably true that Grievous isn't able to close it back, but with that close range Obi-Wan is able to open it with ease and it made me question how fast his reflex really is(Even with his respiratory problem). Grievous try to shoot Obi more than once and instead he went with that MagnaGuard weapon O_o
@popprincess150 You might not have noticed, but most of the bad-asses go down in a singularly "un-epic" manner. Boba Fett, Darth Vader, Darth Maul, General Grievous, Mace Windu... The list goes on and on. Personally, I think George Lucas is racist against bad-asses.
@skyalmond people forget the force in these fights, Obi-Wan is just the luckiest Jedi ever, the force had plans for him but he's actually a quite average Jedi with the exception of that huge luck factor of course.
@skyalmond he killed general grevious who killed dozens of jedi. he could have killed anakin the chosen one but he decided just to leave anakin there because he thought he was finished anyway (both legs chopped off and an arm and then burned by lava)
@BlackvilleGrave33 You'll notice that Kenobi was dangling off an edge and using a weapon that everyone else forgot about when he killed Grievous. That just further proves my previous point. As for killing Anakin, no, he couldn't have killed the Chosen One. The Force would not have allowed that.
@BlackvilleGrave33 No, my friend, YOU are the dumb one. If Obi had decided to try and kill Anakin, I guarantee you that something would've happened to prevent it. Anakin was the Chosen One. He was incapable of dying until he fulfilled his destiny. Have a nice day! :D
@skyalmond No, my stupid friend, you are the dumb one. If Obi had decided to try and kill Anakin, I guarantee you that he would have succeeded. Have a nice day! :D
@BlackvilleGrave33 It's obvious that concepts like this are much to complex for your feeble mind to understand, so I'm done discussing this with you. I will feed this particular troll no longer. Bye bye!
4. Exactly, but I disagree about Toph refusing to kill. Shaolin Monks are pacifist, but kill thugs who attack them (Like in Deadliest Warrior). If you kill to protect your life then it's not really killing. Plus we haven't see Toph kill because 1, it's a nickelodeon show where killing is barely seen in that brand show. 2, she can easily take them down and disable them so there is no actual reason to kill.
@popprincess150 Well, I concede the killing arguement to you. It's not too big of a stretch to imagine Toph killing if she absolutely had to. Still, she's got one hell of a fight on her hands.
@skyalmond Having a hell of a fight is actually normal to the good characters. They always have to defeat the evil vigorous character in every movie, and still the good character always somehow overcome it.
(Not saying this would be like a movie, but it's typical of how the routine goes)
The Genreal is fully capable of changing the terrain as well, but not to the degree that Toph can. He's limited to cutting things into pieces. Still, that could prove useful.
Ya Grievous can change terrain but Grievous needs to go close range to change it and if he's too busy changing the battlefield then Toph will just shoot rocks. I know Grievous's armor is more than strong enough to take on earth rocks, but i'm not certain how hard is the planet's rock on Grievous's galaxy, same with their metal.
@popprincess150 The rocks in Grievous' galaxy are exactly like the rocks here. The metal, on the other hand, is vastly superior to our own. They've even got clear metal that they use in lieu of glass for the windows on their starships.
@skyalmond Hmm.... I wish I found the info of where you find these stuff about Star Wars, because Wiki isn't very helpful. Still, rocks can harm Grievous.
@skyalmond Why not? The joints are always the weak spot. Toph just use the metal from the crashed ship to disconnect Grievous's connected joints (hands) to stop the spinning sabers. Then that's where the small sharp rocks come in and pierce his organs.
@skyalmond lol. I meant Toph use the metal from the crash ship to stop the spinning sabers. Grievous's spinning sabers are similar to a power fan and the weakspot is in the center which Grievous's spinning saber can't protect. And the metal is match with Grievous's armor so that will do more damage than normal rock.
@popprincess150 Ok, I'll give you that. But it's not like he's going to be keeping them stationary, is it? They'll be in constant motion, and the middle part is a relatively small target.
Well I'm not sure if Grievous want to keep doing that (if he really wants cut all of his cover advantages). He has to come and strike Toph fast. If Grievous wants to wait until she becomes fatigue then that will be a while since Toph can still fight even though she's tired for not sleeping all night (The Chase), and even if she does become to tired, she can always go underground for a break. But that could take hours for that to happen and Grievous will be to impatient for trying to kill 1 girl.
@skyalmond What's stopping him is earth. Earthquakes, dust clouds, change of rock terrain etc.. Grievous can handle those problems but not while charging simultaneously. He's not like Toph where she can just use her offense as part of her defense.
Yes that can probably happen, but that depends if Toph is gonna particapate in that ambush theory. She may not be able to see Grievous but that lightsaber isn't silent as our swords and that might give away his position for an ambush. Just because she sees with earthbending doesn't mean she rely on only one scent, there is hearing, smell, and feel. She is able to know a rock is landing at her and arrows being shot toward her, so I know she can see Grievous drop down on her.
@popprincess150 He's not gonna have his sabers on if he's trying to ambush her. And instead of just dropping, he can push off from the ceiling as hard as he can. She'd need some pretty fast reflexes, depending on how high up the ceiling is.
@skyalmond Instead of just dropping? You said drop down didn't you. And yes that does depends the height of the ship which is ....what ship exactly? Fast reflex? A girl who can beat master martial artists (Dai Li) yes she got reflexes. Like in this vid, rookie jedis can see and evade Grievous's lunge, why can't Toph do that to?
@popprincess150 I'm allowed to amend the things I say, aren't I? You said that she could hear him falling if he dropped, so I suggested that he pushes off the ceiling instead, thus reducing the amount of time she's got to react. And I didn't say anything about the height of the ship, I said the height of the ceiling. Big difference. And you'll find that Grievous' speed is much greater than that of any martial artist. Finally, all Jedi, no matter how "rookie," have precognition, which Toph lacks.
@skyalmond Amend things, yes. No I didn't say she can hear him if Grievous falls, I said the lightsabers she can hear, the fall is the vibration. Yes big difference, but the different ship means different ceiling heights, that's what I meant. And even if Toph goes inside the ship, do you think she just stroll there or act cautious? Cautious, she beat the Dai Lee flawlessly so she has much more reflex than a master. And since when Grievous knows Toph can't see in metal, or even know she's blind?
This is stupid Greivous would of won and everyone knows that, just think about it for 1 minute and if you don't have a mental disease then it is a clear choice, Grievous, you said Toph is stronger, yet George Lucas said himself, Grievous represents unlimited strength and power,
I think it's pretty fair. Toph has plenty of "bendable" materials, and they both have plenty of cover. Although, I think Grievous has more cover here, because o fhis ability to run across walls and even ceilings with his magnetized feet. You ok with that?
@skyalmond As long as you're okay with it. Toph can also climb into ceilings like the part in Sozin's Comet or the Dai Li agents. And if the cover is earth then she can change the cover, making it her own terrain.
@skyalmond But arrogant as he is he would rather fight head on. A enchanced cyborg general vs a blind girl will obviously led Grevious to fight head on, not use an airstrike. And if that does happen it will be flagship vs Toph, and anyone can win with an airstrike. So no, but that dosen't matter, 2 different universes shall never be at all.
@popprincess150 It's not Grievous' problem that Toph doesn't have anything that's space-worthy. Maybe he just comes across this planet and decides to obliterate it. I don't see anything in the rules that says Grievous is limited in what he can and can't use.
@popprincess150 If you want to put limits on this, fine. I will, too. If you say Grievous doesn't get to call in the Invisible Hand, I say Toph doesn't get to use ant Metalbending at all. As they say, pick your poison.
@skyalmond No, I never say Grievous has a limit. I'm just saying we would rather fight Toph with sabers rather than take any shortcut. In episode 3, Obi-Wan could have died if Grievous hadn't stop the droids from firing, but instead he went 1 on 1. And taking away metalbending won't do a thing (depending on terrain). This fight is uneven for both characters, I say it doesn't matter because there is no point in debating this. A more even fight would be Avatar vs Apprentice, or Bumi vs Mace.
@skyalmond Because I came here to just see what people have in mind with their characters, and I say that there is no need to really fight about it without anyone getting mad. It's not really pointless, I just don't want to see people swearing that their character didn't win that's all. Plus I recheck some of the vids that I commented when it's a slow day. That's why.
@popprincess150 Who's getting mad? I'm definitely not. I'm enjoying myself with a friendly little debate. It's not very often that I find someone on Youtube that actually knows what they're talking about.
@skyalmond Well if you explore around in Youtube, you see people use swear words in debate. Example: people in Freddy vs Jason, both of them swear at each other to say who's the real winner. And people are people so they are alike. I'm not saying we all swear. I just like the internet to be a swear free, enviorment where everyone can be accepted. :)
@popprincess150 You'll notice I haven't used a single swear word. lol. I just happen to think that Grievous would annihilate Toph in nearly every situation.
@skyalmond That's what I meant, I'm not saying everyone swears. And Grievous would kill Toph in every situation? If it's Grievous fighting only with sabers I disagree. Like I said in my previous comments, just pulvarize the crystal inside the sabers and now you have a Cyborg with no weapon. Cyborg with no weapon means now he's completely vulnerable. But ya, if Grievous did use his spaceship, Toph is annihilated, but that's only one method I say Grievous winning.
@popprincess150 I said "nearly" every situation. I'm not so narrow-minded as to think Grievous could win every time. Toph's pretty tough. And I'll concede to you that Toph could disable Grievous' sabers by destroying the crystals in them. But she won't know they're powered by crystals right off the bat. She could figure it out eventually, sure. But she'd be more focused on Grievous himself to start with, so the sabers could still win it for him.
@skyalmond There's also the problem of whether Toph could even "see" the crystals or not. She can't "see" through metal very well, as seen in "Sozin's Comet," so I don't know if she'd be able to see much of Grievous' metal body, especially considering how fast he moves.
Well if it's gonna take that long for Toph to find out, then she can make Grievous lose his footing like the Boulder in The Blind Bandit or 2:18 in this vid. Also make a dust cloud to blind Grievous, so Toph has got a lot of time to figure out Grievous's weapons are actually powered by crystals. Grievous may be fast but Grievous isn't light on his feet like Aang so I don't think it's hard for Toph to detect Grievous for his mass weight & hearing the sound of the saber.
@popprincess150 Toph could definitely slow Grievous down. but when Grievous wants something, he just can't be stopped. One could see this trait when that Ithorian Jedi used that Force Scream or whatever it was, and Grievous just folded up and slowly pushed through it.
@skyalmond When Grievous wants something he can't be stopped? I partially find that true, because Grievous wants to kill Obi-Wan but instead he died, then Obi-Wan dies in the later episode. So if Toph uses a guerrila tactic, disconnect Grievous with much rocks as much as possible, then go underground to another safe area, and restart the process. A annoying strategy, yes, but pretty effective since that strategy has a thousand battles won on it's reputation.
@popprincess150 That was only because Grievous was still weak from Mace using Force Crush on his lungs. If Grievous was at full power, Kenobi wouldn't have had a chance.
And I can't see rocks doing much damage, since the metal his body is made of is 100,000 times stronger than steel.
@skyalmond By disconnecting Grievous I meant build as much trouble of where Grievous can barely stand. Earthquakes, boulders to knock Grievous back those kinds of stuff. True, Grievous's body is made of metal but do you see how many open areas the metal body left out, small sharp rocks can go in his body without penetrating his armor. I know Grievous can block most of the rocks, but it will be like blocking a mini-gun when all the unlimited tiny rocks come at once.
@popprincess150 Wouldn't be to hard to block all of them if he did that spinning saber technique. Earthquakes wouldn't matter much if Grievous hooked himself into the ground with his claws, and he cut simply dodge the boulders, or else cut them in half.
Grievous' biggest advantage in this is that he can't get tired, whereas Toph will eventually get worn out. Grievous just has to drag the battle out long enough for fatigue to set in on Toph.
@skyalmond Rocks can be shot by under, above, rear, side, and front all at once. But I'm not sure spinning saber techniques can protect all of Grievous's sides simultaneously. Yes he can sink his claws in the ground but I wouldn't do that if he wants to get sunk underground. If he tries to dodge/cut rocks then it will be like an asteroid field to Grievous and soon he would have to make a mistake.
@popprincess150 And who says Toph has the terrain? We haven't agreed upon a battleground. As far as you and I know, they could be fighting in a void. lol. I think we should agree upon an "arena" before we take this any farther.
@skyalmond Okay, I didn't mention any metal bending because I have no idea what's the terrain, only rock. And Toph getting worn out, Toph doesn't do anything until it's the right moment to strike. A dust cloud will make Grievous wonder around the field since he doesn't feel the force, which she can have a quick break in that situation.
@popprincess150 As for terrain, I think something similar to that crashed Republic Ship at Hypori might be good. Lots of metal and rock, and also lots of cover. Seems fairly even for both sides. What do you think?
And as for the dust cloud, it wouldn't be that big a stretcth for Grievous to spin only his torso at super-high speeds to blow away the dust, similar to a fan. Sabers don't have to be on, and he just has to tilt himself at a slight angle.
@skyalmond Hmmm... a fair terrain I guess. I'm not really sure because Toph can hide within rocks and strike a blow to Grievous with rock or metal. Like a mantis hunting a snake, or a sniper sniping. And just because there is cover doesn't mean it's only meant for Grievous. The terrain is acceptable, but I'm not sure if you think it's fair enough.
most likely the fight would go like this: Toph would throw rocks at Grievous from different angles and keep him at distance for a while, but he will dodge or cut most of them since it would be like dodging a force throw . eventually he will get at close range ,where while she can bend metal (sort of she uses the impurities in it to shape it) she's dead cause almost all benders need poses in order to bend which i doubt she could do without a lightsaber to defend.
@vanhell0 Instead of going for the metal body to strike, Toph would just disarm the lightsabers. Lightsabers are powered from a crystal, which earthbenders can bend crystal and she is one. Toph's strategy is to weaken or disarm the enemy without giving up most of your strength, then strike the final blow, mention by Aang on The Drill episode. So, ya she'll probably do that to defeat Grievous, but no, since they will never meet.
Lightsabers are powered from crystals, earthbenders can bend crystals. Toph is an Earthbender so she can disarm it so Grievous is over. Plus Grievous's body is metal and flesh so it's a double over.
Toph can also sense incoming projectiles, aerial or ground. (Sense of hearing).
Toph can also metalbend, she can metalbend the shit out of Grievous without even touching it, especially if she metalbended those metal lightsabres first.
@ColonelMcKnight Well 1st of all, what do you think the lightsabers are powered from. A crystal, and earthbenders can bend crystal. So Toph can just disarm Grievous's lightsabers so the fight is over.
@supercalibabi123 Typical, people don't like it when they see their heroes lose. Not trying to say anything though, but that's what most people do. And besides, it's not like these 2 are even gonna fight each other anyway.
"4)He can fly into the air when launching and she react fast to that to defend herself." well she can only "see" when there on the ground or maby this needs to be worded better anyway thats all I wanted to say.
It's very dependable on who wins, Toph sees through vibration so it's hard to sneak up on Toph unless ariel attack, and Grievious's strength is at close combat. So Grievious wins on close combat, Toph wins on certain enviorments and med to long range.
"Toph's Metalbending seems to be restricted to close-range manipulation; in almost all cases she has had to be standing close to or in direct contact with the metal she intends to bend."
Your shipment of Fail has arrived, my friend. Toph just took a lightsaber to the forehead.
@DDenDong16 Can't knock his head off that way, sorry. the metal his head is encased in is 300,000 times stronger than regular steel. Steel, last time I checked, is stronger than rock.
Toph sinks Grievous in ground.
Thrown rock bounces harmlessly off Grievous' faceplate.
@anythingnew That and ATLA and Star Wars have a lot of people connections within their group so it can be a possibility for them to do a situation like this if they wanted to.
@DoABarrelRol1l well in Season 3 could bend sand so I'm guessing her feet got sand glasses >.> but the Desert/ Dessert would probably a even match but Toph's got the most odds in winning in the sand.
Spaceship is totally Grievous's playing field since she can jump around the ship, Toph can bend the metal but it would take her time to match grievous's speed on it.
@DroidArmyLeader Toph can Metalbend, yes, but she can't "see" through metal. Therefore Grievous wins by default if they're fighting on any metallic surface. In fact, tricking her onto a Cruiser is the only way Grievous can beat her. If he didn't have his lung problems, Grievous MIGHT be able to outsmart her. But since he does have it, forget it. The instant that kicks in, he's done. Toph immobilizes him and Metalbends his body. Game Over.
@ForeverDegenerate I can't really agree that she can't see on metallic surfaces because during the sozin's comet episodes. She was seen walking fine on the sand as well as the airship that was mainly composed of metallic surfaces and railings. If she couldn't see on Metallic surfaces then she wouldn't been able to determine where the Troops were in the control room.
@DroidArmyLeader Uh no. Toph can't "see" when standing on metal. Since you brought up the Sozin's Comet Episodes, I suggest you see them again. Sokka was directing her attacks, effectively "seeing" for her. When he was attacked, Toph could not help because she could not "see." She even says to Sokka, something like, "Tell me where the targets are because I can't 'see' them.' On sand, yeah she can "see" just fine.
@adam19742007 No, sorry. She can only metal bend something that she's touching. She's not going to be able to get close enough to Grievous to touch him, because those lightsbers are 4 feet long. You are right about one thing, though. The fight WOULD last all of two seconds. And it would end with Toph being turned into little pieces of smoking meat on the ground. :D
Grievious would pwn that little kid. 4 arms, able to weild 5 sabers at a time, can dodge force attacks, took down 7 jedi, 2 of which were masters. Grevious woult Sooooo totally own Toph...
Toph would win, because not only is Grievous practically made of metal but so are his lightsabers so Toph could just snap them and then twist Grievous into a pretzel.
@Saine199611 Nope. Toph has to touch metal in order to bend it. There's absolutely no chance of her getting close enough to touch Grievous when you consider how fast he is combined with the fact that lightsabers are about four feet long. Anyone closer than 4 feet that doesn't have a lightsaber in their hand is doomed on a biblical scale.
grievous is made of metal-----> toph bends metal-----> toph bends grievous----> toph wins ........ faster and more pathetic than his death in the movie
Sorry but he wouldn't lose such a battle because he DOES have force sensitivity *He has minicorian infused blood* Combined with a hyper aware computational computer inserted into his brain. He is infact more sensitive then some of the lesser Jedi. Combined with the ability to think so fast no human being can keep up. Combine this with the Grevious Before he was crushed by wendu *Before suffering damage to organs* No way he'd lose such a fight. and I actually like toph.
I love both but I believe that Grevious would win. He needs to rely on speed and if he can get close to her it would be over. It would be Toph's greatest test though.
okay i have a few things to say about general grievous and jango fett they where both kick ass murders that could not be stoped yet they where both killed so easyily i find it weird and impossible to kill em i mean come on jango killed and entire army of ppl by him self plus a sith lord a space ship loaded with rockets and lasers all with his flame thrower rocket on his jet pack and duel weilding pistols
Also, throwing rocks at Grievous is pretty pointless, as Shaak Ti so generously demonstrated for us at Hypori. She could TRY to crush him with large rocks, but his reflexes are borderline pre-cognition. That, and rocks are alot softer than the durasteel his body is made of, which is 300,000 times stronger than regular steel.
Let me make one thing very clear. Toph is good, but she's no match for Grievous. I just looked it up, and she has to be in physical contact with metal in order to bend it. Just go to Google, search in "Avatar Wiki," and when you get there, look up Toph. She really can't bend metal unless she touches it. Trust me, getting close enough to Grievous to touch him is a BAD idea for someone without a lightsaber. There goes the Metalbending arguemnt, as far as I'm concerned.
totally never expect this pair up to fight lolz awesum! but wha greivious cant come back he died! that waz pretty kewl in your vid it looks as though grevious is jumping out of the Giant fire nation drill. Toph would definately have won!!! great vidjo
If its the clone wars miniseries grevious, which it seems it is. Grevious would woop her ass real good. All the other grevious's are wusses and doesn't know how to fight, Toph would win.
117 dislikes. Master chief is gettin involved now.

Sorry, you "implied" that she would hear him falling. Better? And no, they all had pretty much the same sized rooms throughout all the ships. It helps whenever the ship needs to be repaired. You'll also notice that not once have I said that Grievous knew any of that. It doesn't matter if he knows it or not, the fact still remains.
skyalmond 1 year ago
The reasons why I said that Grievous knowing about her disability is because if he knows, then he will use that ambush theory, I haven't seen him use any other tactic then fight head on like a samurai. The ambush might happen, but she isn't easily fooled on full guard, and I'm not sure if Grievous will go with that since It doesn't match the way I see Grievous's reputation. If you show me a vid that Grievous does a tactic instead of being the offensive type, then I'm with you on the ambush part.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 When Grievous made his "public debut" to the Republic, he used ambush and intimidation tactics. When the five Jedi were in a circle, he hung from the ceiling and waited for just the right moment to drop down in the middle of them, thus separating them. I'm pretty sure that counts as an ambush.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond Even if that counts as an ambush, Toph is the one that always waits and listens before striking. She isn't gonna charge like that padawan, and unlike those jedis their only strength is numbers on close range. If it was Toph in that situation, she would already find him walking toward her and won't let him hang right above her. Grievous lunges, Toph uses the land to shifts herself away from the direction Grievous pounced at, then they both start fighting.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 Well, Grievous is gonna constantly be trying to get into close range with Toph. If he can manage that, she's got almost no defense.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond Well the current problem here is how will Grievous get close enough to defeat Toph. She's a fast counter fighter and everywhere Grievous goes the ground is a trap. Grievous charges/lunges toward her, Toph can just transport the land that she's standing on as an evasion move. The only advantage for Grievous is that he has to stay close to the ship for to even get close to Toph.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 Grievous wouldn't have too much trouble getting close to Toph. He's incredibly fast and agile. I don't think Toph has ever fought anyone ans quick and nimble as General Grievous.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond Well, watching Toph throughout all of the series, she kicks butt without using up most of her potential. So it's hard to figure how much Toph is really capable of. Plus Grievous is a 7ft cyborg with noisy sabers. It would be similar to a oversize bee with that noise. All Toph needs to do is make a dust cloud to slow Grievous down or even stop him. Then when Grievous tries to fan the cloud out, he's open and Toph can use whatever attack she wants.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 That's exactly Toph's problem, though. She never uses her full potential. She doesn't have the mindset of a killer. She would never kill anyone, not even Grievous. The general, however, has no such limitations.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond Killing doesn't make you strong. All Toph needs to do is incap Grievous by getting rid of the sabers, breaking his limbs, use metalbending to tighten Grievous's armor so he'll have a hard time breathing, etc. And who knows, maybe Grievous will accidently kill himself. Like Frieza vs Goku, Avatar Kyoshi vs Chin the Conquerer etc.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150
I could say that about Toph.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond
4. Where's your counter argument there?
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150
See above arguements.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@popprincess150
We're comparing the pair's combat skills in an effort to see which would win in a fight.
skyalmond 1 year ago
3. N/A
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150
I'm not saying Toph is stupid, I'm just saying that Grievous has alot more experience than she does.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond
(Like in episode 3 of where Grievous could took the time to close his breastplate when Obi is down but choose to finish him off and Grievous end up dead).
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 To be fair, Toph has a bit of an arrogance problem, too. While it's not as extreme as Grievous' arrogance, it's still there. And I don't think Grievous could've just closed his chestplate back again. When Obi pulled it open, it looked like a bunch of bindings or something came flying out. I think he would've needed a replacement, if he had survived.
skyalmond 1 year ago
Ya she's a little bit arrogant because of that Earth Rumble arena(Similar to WWE or WWF). But I doubt Toph will get cocky against a 7ft unidentified cyborg.
Probably true that Grievous isn't able to close it back, but with that close range Obi-Wan is able to open it with ease and it made me question how fast his reflex really is(Even with his respiratory problem). Grievous try to shoot Obi more than once and instead he went with that MagnaGuard weapon O_o
That battle had me confuse.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 Grievous sucked in that battle for no other reason than he needed to die for the storyline to stay intact.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond I know, but Grievous should at least died in a epic matter.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 You might not have noticed, but most of the bad-asses go down in a singularly "un-epic" manner. Boba Fett, Darth Vader, Darth Maul, General Grievous, Mace Windu... The list goes on and on. Personally, I think George Lucas is racist against bad-asses.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond Yeah I've notice that.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 Oh well. Can't do anything about it, really. :/

@skyalmond i think darth maul's death was pretty epic.

@BlackvilleGrave33 Cut in half by some run-of-the-mill Padawan? Doesn't seem too epic to me. :/

@skyalmond it does to me. since it shows obi-wan's potential.

@BlackvilleGrave33 Please. Obi-Wan cannot kill anyone unless he's dangling off an edge and using a weapon that everyon'e forgotten about.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond people forget the force in these fights, Obi-Wan is just the luckiest Jedi ever, the force had plans for him but he's actually a quite average Jedi with the exception of that huge luck factor of course.

@BlackvilleGrave33 Please. Obi-Wan cannot kill anyone unless he's dangling off an edge and using a weapon that everyon'e forgotten about.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond he killed general grevious who killed dozens of jedi. he could have killed anakin the chosen one but he decided just to leave anakin there because he thought he was finished anyway (both legs chopped off and an arm and then burned by lava)
BlackvilleGrave33 1 year ago
@BlackvilleGrave33 You'll notice that Kenobi was dangling off an edge and using a weapon that everyone else forgot about when he killed Grievous. That just further proves my previous point. As for killing Anakin, no, he couldn't have killed the Chosen One. The Force would not have allowed that.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond yes. he could have. anakin was burning by the lava, had only one arm...no lightsaber, no legs. you're dumb :D
BlackvilleGrave33 1 year ago
@BlackvilleGrave33 No, my friend, YOU are the dumb one. If Obi had decided to try and kill Anakin, I guarantee you that something would've happened to prevent it. Anakin was the Chosen One. He was incapable of dying until he fulfilled his destiny. Have a nice day! :D

@skyalmond No, my stupid friend, you are the dumb one. If Obi had decided to try and kill Anakin, I guarantee you that he would have succeeded. Have a nice day! :D

@skyalmond LOL good job, at least you realized i was trolling you. G O O D J O B! :D btw, anakin woulda died :(
BlackvilleGrave33 1 year ago
@skyalmond
2, she can easily take them down and disable them so there is no actual reason to kill.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 Well, I concede the killing arguement to you. It's not too big of a stretch to imagine Toph killing if she absolutely had to. Still, she's got one hell of a fight on her hands.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond Having a hell of a fight is actually normal to the good characters. They always have to defeat the evil vigorous character in every movie, and still the good character always somehow overcome it.
(Not saying this would be like a movie, but it's typical of how the routine goes)
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 And what is your response to my two arguements from before?
skyalmond 1 year ago
The Genreal is fully capable of changing the terrain as well, but not to the degree that Toph can. He's limited to cutting things into pieces. Still, that could prove useful.
skyalmond 1 year ago
Ya Grievous can change terrain but Grievous needs to go close range to change it and if he's too busy changing the battlefield then Toph will just shoot rocks. I know Grievous's armor is more than strong enough to take on earth rocks, but i'm not certain how hard is the planet's rock on Grievous's galaxy, same with their metal.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 The rocks in Grievous' galaxy are exactly like the rocks here. The metal, on the other hand, is vastly superior to our own. They've even got clear metal that they use in lieu of glass for the windows on their starships.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond Hmm.... I wish I found the info of where you find these stuff about Star Wars, because Wiki isn't very helpful. Still, rocks can harm Grievous.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 If they can get past the spinning lightsabers AND the near-indestructible metal of his body, sure.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond Why not? The joints are always the weak spot. Toph just use the metal from the crashed ship to disconnect Grievous's connected joints (hands) to stop the spinning sabers. Then that's where the small sharp rocks come in and pierce his organs.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 Forgive me, but I'm having trouble understanding what you mean. lol.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond lol. I meant Toph use the metal from the crash ship to stop the spinning sabers. Grievous's spinning sabers are similar to a power fan and the weakspot is in the center which Grievous's spinning saber can't protect. And the metal is match with Grievous's armor so that will do more damage than normal rock.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 Ok, I'll give you that. But it's not like he's going to be keeping them stationary, is it? They'll be in constant motion, and the middle part is a relatively small target.
skyalmond 1 year ago
Well I'm not sure if Grievous want to keep doing that (if he really wants cut all of his cover advantages). He has to come and strike Toph fast. If Grievous wants to wait until she becomes fatigue then that will be a while since Toph can still fight even though she's tired for not sleeping all night (The Chase), and even if she does become to tired, she can always go underground for a break. But that could take hours for that to happen and Grievous will be to impatient for trying to kill 1 girl.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 Well, what's stopping him from simply charging her down and killing her?
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond
popprincess150 1 year ago
@skyalmond What's stopping him is earth. Earthquakes, dust clouds, change of rock terrain etc.. Grievous can handle those problems but not while charging simultaneously. He's not like Toph where she can just use her offense as part of her defense.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 Ok, what if he hid himself on the ceiling and dropped down on her as an ambush? The ship is metal, and Toph can't see through metal.
skyalmond 1 year ago
Yes that can probably happen, but that depends if Toph is gonna particapate in that ambush theory. She may not be able to see Grievous but that lightsaber isn't silent as our swords and that might give away his position for an ambush. Just because she sees with earthbending doesn't mean she rely on only one scent, there is hearing, smell, and feel. She is able to know a rock is landing at her and arrows being shot toward her, so I know she can see Grievous drop down on her.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 He's not gonna have his sabers on if he's trying to ambush her. And instead of just dropping, he can push off from the ceiling as hard as he can. She'd need some pretty fast reflexes, depending on how high up the ceiling is.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond Instead of just dropping? You said drop down didn't you. And yes that does depends the height of the ship which is ....what ship exactly? Fast reflex? A girl who can beat master martial artists (Dai Li) yes she got reflexes. Like in this vid, rookie jedis can see and evade Grievous's lunge, why can't Toph do that to?
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 I'm allowed to amend the things I say, aren't I? You said that she could hear him falling if he dropped, so I suggested that he pushes off the ceiling instead, thus reducing the amount of time she's got to react. And I didn't say anything about the height of the ship, I said the height of the ceiling. Big difference. And you'll find that Grievous' speed is much greater than that of any martial artist. Finally, all Jedi, no matter how "rookie," have precognition, which Toph lacks.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond Amend things, yes. No I didn't say she can hear him if Grievous falls, I said the lightsabers she can hear, the fall is the vibration. Yes big difference, but the different ship means different ceiling heights, that's what I meant. And even if Toph goes inside the ship, do you think she just stroll there or act cautious? Cautious, she beat the Dai Lee flawlessly so she has much more reflex than a master. And since when Grievous knows Toph can't see in metal, or even know she's blind?
popprincess150 1 year ago
This is stupid Greivous would of won and everyone knows that, just think about it for 1 minute and if you don't have a mental disease then it is a clear choice, Grievous, you said Toph is stronger, yet George Lucas said himself, Grievous represents unlimited strength and power,
hcosselman 1 year ago
@hcosselman Yha...except Grievous is mostly metal....Toph is a Metal Bender. This would have been a more one sided fight then Magneto Vrs Wolverine
redith137 1 year ago
@redith137 You know that greivous is made out of metal for fact?
hcosselman 1 year ago
I think it's pretty fair. Toph has plenty of "bendable" materials, and they both have plenty of cover. Although, I think Grievous has more cover here, because o fhis ability to run across walls and even ceilings with his magnetized feet. You ok with that?
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond As long as you're okay with it. Toph can also climb into ceilings like the part in Sozin's Comet or the Dai Li agents. And if the cover is earth then she can change the cover, making it her own terrain.
popprincess150 1 year ago
Soory, I meant "COULD simply dodge," not cut. lol.
skyalmond 1 year ago
Grievous could just use his flagship, the Invisible Hand, to bombard whatever planet Toph is on from orbit. Metalbend THAT. :3
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond But arrogant as he is he would rather fight head on. A enchanced cyborg general vs a blind girl will obviously led Grevious to fight head on, not use an airstrike. And if that does happen it will be flagship vs Toph, and anyone can win with an airstrike. So no, but that dosen't matter, 2 different universes shall never be at all.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 It's not Grievous' problem that Toph doesn't have anything that's space-worthy. Maybe he just comes across this planet and decides to obliterate it. I don't see anything in the rules that says Grievous is limited in what he can and can't use.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@popprincess150 If you want to put limits on this, fine. I will, too. If you say Grievous doesn't get to call in the Invisible Hand, I say Toph doesn't get to use ant Metalbending at all. As they say, pick your poison.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond No, I never say Grievous has a limit. I'm just saying we would rather fight Toph with sabers rather than take any shortcut. In episode 3, Obi-Wan could have died if Grievous hadn't stop the droids from firing, but instead he went 1 on 1. And taking away metalbending won't do a thing (depending on terrain). This fight is uneven for both characters, I say it doesn't matter because there is no point in debating this. A more even fight would be Avatar vs Apprentice, or Bumi vs Mace.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 If this debate is so pointless, then why do you continue to come back to this video? Surely you have better things to do?
By the way...
Starkiller>Aang
Mace<Bumi
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond Because I came here to just see what people have in mind with their characters, and I say that there is no need to really fight about it without anyone getting mad. It's not really pointless, I just don't want to see people swearing that their character didn't win that's all. Plus I recheck some of the vids that I commented when it's a slow day. That's why.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 Who's getting mad? I'm definitely not. I'm enjoying myself with a friendly little debate. It's not very often that I find someone on Youtube that actually knows what they're talking about.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond Well if you explore around in Youtube, you see people use swear words in debate. Example: people in Freddy vs Jason, both of them swear at each other to say who's the real winner. And people are people so they are alike. I'm not saying we all swear. I just like the internet to be a swear free, enviorment where everyone can be accepted. :)
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 You'll notice I haven't used a single swear word. lol. I just happen to think that Grievous would annihilate Toph in nearly every situation.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond That's what I meant, I'm not saying everyone swears. And Grievous would kill Toph in every situation? If it's Grievous fighting only with sabers I disagree. Like I said in my previous comments, just pulvarize the crystal inside the sabers and now you have a Cyborg with no weapon. Cyborg with no weapon means now he's completely vulnerable. But ya, if Grievous did use his spaceship, Toph is annihilated, but that's only one method I say Grievous winning.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 I said "nearly" every situation. I'm not so narrow-minded as to think Grievous could win every time. Toph's pretty tough. And I'll concede to you that Toph could disable Grievous' sabers by destroying the crystals in them. But she won't know they're powered by crystals right off the bat. She could figure it out eventually, sure. But she'd be more focused on Grievous himself to start with, so the sabers could still win it for him.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond There's also the problem of whether Toph could even "see" the crystals or not. She can't "see" through metal very well, as seen in "Sozin's Comet," so I don't know if she'd be able to see much of Grievous' metal body, especially considering how fast he moves.
skyalmond 1 year ago
Well if it's gonna take that long for Toph to find out, then she can make Grievous lose his footing like the Boulder in The Blind Bandit or 2:18 in this vid. Also make a dust cloud to blind Grievous, so Toph has got a lot of time to figure out Grievous's weapons are actually powered by crystals. Grievous may be fast but Grievous isn't light on his feet like Aang so I don't think it's hard for Toph to detect Grievous for his mass weight & hearing the sound of the saber.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 Toph could definitely slow Grievous down. but when Grievous wants something, he just can't be stopped. One could see this trait when that Ithorian Jedi used that Force Scream or whatever it was, and Grievous just folded up and slowly pushed through it.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond When Grievous wants something he can't be stopped? I partially find that true, because Grievous wants to kill Obi-Wan but instead he died, then Obi-Wan dies in the later episode. So if Toph uses a guerrila tactic, disconnect Grievous with much rocks as much as possible, then go underground to another safe area, and restart the process. A annoying strategy, yes, but pretty effective since that strategy has a thousand battles won on it's reputation.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 That was only because Grievous was still weak from Mace using Force Crush on his lungs. If Grievous was at full power, Kenobi wouldn't have had a chance.
And I can't see rocks doing much damage, since the metal his body is made of is 100,000 times stronger than steel.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond By disconnecting Grievous I meant build as much trouble of where Grievous can barely stand. Earthquakes, boulders to knock Grievous back those kinds of stuff. True, Grievous's body is made of metal but do you see how many open areas the metal body left out, small sharp rocks can go in his body without penetrating his armor. I know Grievous can block most of the rocks, but it will be like blocking a mini-gun when all the unlimited tiny rocks come at once.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 Wouldn't be to hard to block all of them if he did that spinning saber technique. Earthquakes wouldn't matter much if Grievous hooked himself into the ground with his claws, and he cut simply dodge the boulders, or else cut them in half.
Grievous' biggest advantage in this is that he can't get tired, whereas Toph will eventually get worn out. Grievous just has to drag the battle out long enough for fatigue to set in on Toph.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond Rocks can be shot by under, above, rear, side, and front all at once. But I'm not sure spinning saber techniques can protect all of Grievous's sides simultaneously. Yes he can sink his claws in the ground but I wouldn't do that if he wants to get sunk underground. If he tries to dodge/cut rocks then it will be like an asteroid field to Grievous and soon he would have to make a mistake.
Grievous has the Agility,
Toph has the Terrain.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 You didn't respond to my other point about Toph getting worn out and Grievous being unable to get tired.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@popprincess150 And who says Toph has the terrain? We haven't agreed upon a battleground. As far as you and I know, they could be fighting in a void. lol. I think we should agree upon an "arena" before we take this any farther.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond Okay, I didn't mention any metal bending because I have no idea what's the terrain, only rock. And Toph getting worn out, Toph doesn't do anything until it's the right moment to strike. A dust cloud will make Grievous wonder around the field since he doesn't feel the force, which she can have a quick break in that situation.
popprincess150 1 year ago
@popprincess150 As for terrain, I think something similar to that crashed Republic Ship at Hypori might be good. Lots of metal and rock, and also lots of cover. Seems fairly even for both sides. What do you think?
And as for the dust cloud, it wouldn't be that big a stretcth for Grievous to spin only his torso at super-high speeds to blow away the dust, similar to a fan. Sabers don't have to be on, and he just has to tilt himself at a slight angle.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond Hmmm... a fair terrain I guess. I'm not really sure because Toph can hide within rocks and strike a blow to Grievous with rock or metal. Like a mantis hunting a snake, or a sniper sniping. And just because there is cover doesn't mean it's only meant for Grievous. The terrain is acceptable, but I'm not sure if you think it's fair enough.
popprincess150 1 year ago
most likely the fight would go like this: Toph would throw rocks at Grievous from different angles and keep him at distance for a while, but he will dodge or cut most of them since it would be like dodging a force throw . eventually he will get at close range ,where while she can bend metal (sort of she uses the impurities in it to shape it) she's dead cause almost all benders need poses in order to bend which i doubt she could do without a lightsaber to defend.
vanhell0 1 year ago

Toph can sense footsteps, via vibrations.
Toph can also sense incoming projectiles, aerial or ground. (Sense of hearing).
Toph can also metalbend, she can metalbend the shit out of Grievous without even touching it, especially if she metalbended those metal lightsabres first.
Grievious is fast, and swift.
So, I'm not sure.

"4)He can fly into the air when launching and she react fast to that to defend herself." well she can only "see" when there on the ground or maby this needs to be worded better anyway thats all I wanted to say.
laffuntilucry 1 year ago
It's very dependable on who wins, Toph sees through vibration so it's hard to sneak up on Toph unless ariel attack, and Grievious's strength is at close combat. So Grievious wins on close combat, Toph wins on certain enviorments and med to long range.
popprincess150 1 year ago
also she can bend the light saber.... game set match!!
abcdefghijklmno42581 1 year ago
@abcdefghijklmno42581 This is copy and pasted from the Avatar Wiki:
"Toph's Metalbending seems to be restricted to close-range manipulation; in almost all cases she has had to be standing close to or in direct contact with the metal she intends to bend."
Your shipment of Fail has arrived, my friend. Toph just took a lightsaber to the forehead.

Toph sinks Grievous into the ground.
Knocks head off with thrown rock.
End game.
DDenDong16 1 year ago
@DDenDong16 Can't knock his head off that way, sorry. the metal his head is encased in is 300,000 times stronger than regular steel. Steel, last time I checked, is stronger than rock.
Toph sinks Grievous in ground.
Thrown rock bounces harmlessly off Grievous' faceplate.
Grievous cuts his way out and annihilates Toph
End game.
skyalmond 1 year ago
@skyalmond 300,000 times? That's simply ridiculous. Fine. Toph walks up to him and rips his head off with her bare hands :P
DDenDong16 1 year ago
@DDenDong16 As soon as she tried, she'd find a lightsaber's blade through her forehead.
skyalmond 1 year ago
Ok, to all the Toph fanboys/fangirls out there, TOPH WOULD GET ANNIHILATED BY GRIEVOUS. She can't metal bend anything unless she touches it.
Toph: *runs up to Grievous to try and metal bend him*
Grievous: *SLICE*
Outcome: Toph becomes little pieces of smoking meat on the ground while Grievous walks away, laughing his shiny metal ass off.

@anythingnew That and ATLA and Star Wars have a lot of people connections within their group so it can be a possibility for them to do a situation like this if they wanted to.

DarthStarscream1138 1 year ago
Didn't like the video, but gave a thumbs up for the idea, and for the prince of persia song. And yeah, Toph can kick Grievous' ass anytime.
yondaime500 1 year ago
@yondaime500 No, she can't. Grievous would destroy her and have a good time doing it.
skyalmond 1 year ago
It would depend on the location, who would win sillies.
Toph would own if in, like a valley or something, but would lose in a space ship battle, or in the dessert (not + w/ spelling)
DoABarrelRol1l 1 year ago
@DoABarrelRol1l well in Season 3 could bend sand so I'm guessing her feet got sand glasses >.> but the Desert/ Dessert would probably a even match but Toph's got the most odds in winning in the sand.
Spaceship is totally Grievous's playing field since she can jump around the ship, Toph can bend the metal but it would take her time to match grievous's speed on it.
DroidArmyLeader 1 year ago
@DroidArmyLeader Toph can Metalbend, yes, but she can't "see" through metal. Therefore Grievous wins by default if they're fighting on any metallic surface. In fact, tricking her onto a Cruiser is the only way Grievous can beat her. If he didn't have his lung problems, Grievous MIGHT be able to outsmart her. But since he does have it, forget it. The instant that kicks in, he's done. Toph immobilizes him and Metalbends his body. Game Over.
ForeverDegenerate 1 year ago
@ForeverDegenerate I can't really agree that she can't see on metallic surfaces because during the sozin's comet episodes. She was seen walking fine on the sand as well as the airship that was mainly composed of metallic surfaces and railings. If she couldn't see on Metallic surfaces then she wouldn't been able to determine where the Troops were in the control room.
DroidArmyLeader 1 year ago
@DroidArmyLeader Uh no. Toph can't "see" when standing on metal. Since you brought up the Sozin's Comet Episodes, I suggest you see them again. Sokka was directing her attacks, effectively "seeing" for her. When he was attacked, Toph could not help because she could not "see." She even says to Sokka, something like, "Tell me where the targets are because I can't 'see' them.' On sand, yeah she can "see" just fine.
ForeverDegenerate 1 year ago
@DoABarrelRol1l
Actually as Toph can metal bend , she would simply crush Grievous into a cube not unlike a compactor. Fight would last all of two seconds.
adam19742007 1 year ago
@adam19742007 No, sorry. She can only metal bend something that she's touching. She's not going to be able to get close enough to Grievous to touch him, because those lightsbers are 4 feet long. You are right about one thing, though. The fight WOULD last all of two seconds. And it would end with Toph being turned into little pieces of smoking meat on the ground. :D
skyalmond 1 year ago
Grievious would pwn that little kid. 4 arms, able to weild 5 sabers at a time, can dodge force attacks, took down 7 jedi, 2 of which were masters. Grevious woult Sooooo totally own Toph...
guthixbox381 1 year ago
Toph would win, because not only is Grievous practically made of metal but so are his lightsabers so Toph could just snap them and then twist Grievous into a pretzel.
Saine199611 1 year ago
@Saine199611 Nope. Toph has to touch metal in order to bend it. There's absolutely no chance of her getting close enough to touch Grievous when you consider how fast he is combined with the fact that lightsabers are about four feet long. Anyone closer than 4 feet that doesn't have a lightsaber in their hand is doomed on a biblical scale.

Grevious would probably just slice everything with the lightsabre. DUNDEEL.
1goldenguy1 1 year ago
Nope.
DRSethFCM 1 year ago
Comparing Avartar too Star Wars? Lol!
Clone1260whoLEGO 1 year ago
I love both but I believe that Grevious would win. He needs to rely on speed and if he can get close to her it would be over. It would be Toph's greatest test though.

okay i have a few things to say about general grievous and jango fett they where both kick ass murders that could not be stoped yet they where both killed so easyily i find it weird and impossible to kill em i mean come on jango killed and entire army of ppl by him self plus a sith lord a space ship loaded with rockets and lasers all with his flame thrower rocket on his jet pack and duel weilding pistols
destroyer11388 1 year ago
grevious would beat him any day of hte week
Predator11563 1 year ago
Also, throwing rocks at Grievous is pretty pointless, as Shaak Ti so generously demonstrated for us at Hypori. She could TRY to crush him with large rocks, but his reflexes are borderline pre-cognition. That, and rocks are alot softer than the durasteel his body is made of, which is 300,000 times stronger than regular steel.
skyalmond 1 year ago

Toph would definately have won!!! great vidjo
