You people who thing "Prophet"Jones was the real thing are so foolish. This man was straight up a FALSE Christ and FALSE prophet, whom Jesus warned us about, and to stay away from. The teachings of this so-called Prophet did not line up with the Bible and has nothing to do with true, Biblical Christianity. Do yourselves a favor.....pick up a Bible and read and see for yourselves this man was not a servant of the God of the Bible, but a servant of the devil.

I have google'd this man and I will admit he was very intelligent as far as his aim of getting money, bt as a prophet of the most high he has failed! If ur true believer of Jesus Christ it's clear as day to see he was a insane false phrophet in which the bible speaks about numerous of times!

My great aunt was a member back in the 50's in Chicago.She passed away long b4 i was born ,but her strong testimony on the truth & good of the Prophet reverberates throughout the generations of family members who remember.

This so-call scandal was back in 1956. Due to education, people are more aware. Because it's in the media does not make it true. Possibly, because of his success combined with his doctrine that they did not understand, many was out to get him. Today we know more than ever that the Police can be crooked. I visit the church occasionally and the church is charged. Long live the memory of Prophet Jones.

@ennisel Yes,he raised three sons,2 of whom i can name,Joshua Jones (b 1938) & David Jones (born 1943)Now,Prophet Jones preached that as God's only 'Holy Prophet' he 'never had sex with a woman' (based on Rev 14:4) so i would assume that these were adopted children,either from his congregants or from extended family members.Either way,he was a father of three.A fact usually left out by his biographers,who seemed to be more interested in 'sensationalizing' him & not the facts about him.

I like this video, shows vintage Evangelist of the 1940s, 50s, 60s, its very shameful that he was envovled in a big scandal of the 1950s, and his cultic ways, but those rings are big, i hope the person who posted this video gives the other half this video of Prophet Jones and more videos of vintage evangelist like Prophet James F. Jones, Daddy Grace, Father Divine, Elder Lightfoot Solomon Michaux, Bishop S.C. Johnson and other black evangelist.

Thanks for posting..this is 'the' ORIGINAL& legendary 'Prophet Jones',whom the music group pays homage to by bearing his name.The Prophet passed in 1971,his ministry is honored & continued to this day in the Church he founded 'Universal Triumph,Dominion of God' in Detroit.
