  • Eckhart Tolle is Satan manifested in the flesh.

  • heath legend <3 r.i.p

  • @truls876 It's heath ledger

  • Who is the bald guy for a start - and what does he know about acting? Happily taking on private messages.

  • I entirely agree with everyone who praises Ledger's performance and approve of his Oscar, but to be honest, I thought Aaron didn't get enough praise for his role. I thought for the last half his performance was just as good as Heath's.

  • @themenaceanish ledger was definately the best actor and character. but eckhart is up their and a worthy rival. "the whole story is basically dents story with batman and the joker centered around it"-nolans words. i believe dent to be the most important character in the film its his journey that symbolises what the film is about. besides batman and the jokers plans involve dent. batman-dent the white knight. joker-his ace in the hole. basically dents role further bettered the jokers role.

  • he should have an oscar, at least for supporting actor

  • loved his role as Harvey Dent and felt his performance was underrapreciated

  • Heath Ledger owned this movie, nuff said.

Aaron Eckahrt? LOL! He didn't even come close to Ledger's performance as The Joker.

  • @themenaceanish It's easy to say that about a flamboyant performance, but Eckhart was definitely on top.

  • @themenaceanish

*sigh* bro why do you keep trolling Batman videos?

  • this is the fourth interview ive seen where this guy is like, "everybody brought their A-game"

  • If heath ledger would not have died then aaron would have got the kind of appreciation he really deserved for his role!

  • best two face ever. i think he should at least been nominated for an oscar in this.

  • The interviewer keeps saying A-game in this and other interviews.

  • Screw you haters.

"Two face wasn't that great, it was all about the Joker"

"I didn't like the actor who played hi" blah blah blah. All I have to say is go FUCK YOURSELF. If Nolan had listened to retarded internet geeks, we would have just gotten another Batman & Robin. So every please stop bitching about TDKR. Based on Nolan's track record. I think we can give the man the benefit of the doubt.

  • I really enjoyed Aaron in Thank You For Smoking.

  • he nailed Two Face and i started to really love this actor he is great

  • YES, an american! lmao

  • I almost felt more scared of him than the Joker, but maybe because his screams ear rape me.

  • It's weird -- he didn't get the level of praise worthy of his preformance.

  • @halfbreed1426 Thats not true. Aaron eckharts performance was also acclaimed. Heath just overshadowed him a bit with the fans. But the only reason it seems like he was underappreciated was because of retarded low IQ moviegoers who thought that the only reason TDK was good was because of the Joker. I bet they didnt even understand the ending. With them it was just a case of "Ooooohhh that clown is really fucked up!". I feel bad for Heath because despite being appreciated, Joker wasn't understood.

  • @regulator619 Fair points, all of them. However, I dont think that -- even from a perspective of the writing -- anyone was supposed to understand the Joker.

  • @halfbreed1426 Well we knew he loved to bring out the hypocritical side of society. He was trying throw everything into chaos. And worst of all, he broke the Batman down emotionally and got in his head, We also know that he cared little for himself. And he was pretty much a force of nature and consisted of human flaws and represented our worst part of society.

And if you asked most people why he was god they'd say that"I like how he's crazy and a genius. And he can laugh really well."

  • "ITS NOT ABOUT WHAT I WANT! ITS ABOUT WHAT'S FAIR!" favorite line from the film

  • he played a terrifying two face in this film props

  • Aaron eckharts character definately symbolizes the entire movies point

  • "Turkey Man Trailer" on youtube!!

    That's him!!

  • he was awsome in this movie!

  • im related to this guy very slightly with the last name of eckhard he proly was a dependent of my great great grandfathers relatives my great great grandpa had his name americanized going through ellis island from germany back in 1898

  • There is no doubt that he deserved an Oscar Nomination, at least. Ledger still would've won, though... Great performances in this movie...

  • was it too much to ask if he dyed his hair black??????

  • I think Aaron Eckhart is an amazing and charismatic actor. In my opinion he will the perfect man for an movie about the life of Hugh Hefner. Please agree!

  • batman forever? "joel suck a dick" SCHUMACHER?

  • Aaron Eckhart for Daredevil dammit!!!!!!!

  • Dude you nailed it.For a long time I've said Brad Pitt,he is a great character actor, just look at Fight Club. Some have even said Guy Pearce,no arguements there on that one, another great actor.Hey I'm Australian.

Eckhart hands down.Daredevil needs that current Batman treatment. It deserves to be treated high drama set in a comic book world.

No doubt pple will compare. When I read Daredevil it felt real to me,it had gravity so does Batman. All it needs is a little push.

  • If Christopher Nolan really wanted people to know Harvey Dent and Two Face were dead, he would have made it very clearn IN the film not outside it. But he didn't, there is no clear evidence he is really dead in the movie, I'm just stating the facts here.

  • @blahmehblah1 chris nolan, actually said that Dent is dead and wont be in anymore movies, but i agree with you. In the movie, its unclear. its like mike myers from halloween. he falls off the balcony but the next moment hes gone. they could have done the same thing with Dent.

  • @93johnk Christopher did say that, I know that. I just have the feeling he's hiding something on purpose. I mean if people werre already predicting the storyline for your third movie, wouldn't you hide the facts to mislead the fans a bit?

  • @blahmehblah1 - how much more evidence do you need? Both Gordon and Batman are already on the crime scene, Harvey lies dead on the ground, Gordon calls for backup, more cops arriving, in the next moment we see Gordon officially declaring Harvey Dent dead.. don't you think the cops took care of the body? and don't you think Gordon knows how to check if someone is actually dead? I mean, come on, what more do you need?!

  • he played both harvey dent and two-face extremely well.

  • I think Aaron deserved a little more credit for his performance in the movie. The Joker and Two Face are two very diffrent villians. And Both Heath and Arron did an amazing job in there performance

  • I can't believe it took me 2 years to get the connection, but doesn't Eckhart look, and even in his speech patterns, remind you of Swayze?

  • You guys need to hire a better fucking audio guy.

  • Two Face was awesome...was in between Batman and Joker (GOOD/BAD).

  • i felt he had a harder character to play than heath ledger since his character went through a huge emotionsl changes through out the movie. who else agrees

  • MORMON POWER!!

  • Who is the mayor of Gotham?

  • @jazzmatik

    Mayor Garcia

i think there might be an "S" on the end of Garcia but it's silent....

  • @jazzmatik He was featured in the movie...

  • everyone can be corruptible. except batman

  • @masterkayaki and gordon!

  • He was amazing as Harvey, but he got way too little screentime as Two-Face. He should have been introduced in the very end.

  • true that...and another thing, take a good look at the Jokers manerisms then check out Kevin playing the "acting teacher".... youtube "Kevin suscavage" where kevin teaches humanities class cicca 05...OMG, tell me he could not be the next Joker xoxox

  • I love Kevin Suscavage (Two Face). He's totally twink. Please have another show!

  • Does anyone here ever watch the VH1 show "The OCD Project" there's a guy on the show named Kevin who basically looks like Aaron Eckhart's clone.

  • He sounds like the guy that did the voice of Batman in the animated series

  • Woah, two face's face was visual effects, not makeup. Give some credit to the VFX guys!! :)

  • Aaron Eckhart has a ballsack chin

  • I liked that fact that the film shows the Dent character having problems with his temper before he becomes Two Face. Also he is aware that Gordon's unit is full of corrupt officers. So when Rachel dies and his Face is scarred then you understand why he changes into a killer. You do sympathise with the Harvey Dent character but when he becomes Two Face then he is a villian that must be stopped.

  • his performance was outstanding. it's a shame he was over-shadowed by Ledger, who i loved too by the way.

  • Aaron Eckhart is such a good actor! I loved him in TDK.

  • The Dark Knight is full of such great actors ...

  • Man Aaron Eckhart is so under-rated! Great actor in a great role in a great movie, you gotta love that

  • TDK Two Face is better than BF Two Face!!!

  • i'll agree with hattu99

  • @hattu99

oh absolutely. You know, Tommy Lee Jone's over the top performance was good, I mean It was a good a villian , but it's not how Two-Face is .

  • @hattu99 ANYTHING in TDK is better than in BF.

  • i thnk they should have ended the movie after tht scene u noe lik a big cliff hanger haha

  • he nailed harvey dent AND two-face....amazing

  • Couldn't agree more. He brought his A-game.

  • @jm28ish definitely but I wish that they would have shown his evil side more before he changed. Like I mean before he became two face, he already had a second personality sorta. That made him do bad stuff when he got mad or frustrated. I wished it would have come out in the movie more but there was just that one scene in the court room. Still was a fantastic job though!

  • @DripinYelaMadnz Ehhhh but what about the scene where he interrogates The Scarecrow, showing how enraged he was by the potential threat against Rachel Dawes. I think nolan portrayed (and foreshadowed) his two-faced personality brilliantly, although like Aaron says in this interview, we still like his character because he is sacrificing his life by trying to become an icon for Gotham and restore hope that people shouldn't be afraid of the terroristic threats.

  • @EventuallyWeMerge that's true, I totally forgot about that little interrogation he had lol I agree Aaron did an amazing job and I loved the scenes that did foreshadow his downfall into two-face the whole movie was all around perfect! :D

  • @EventuallyWeMerge wo! wait a minet that was scarecrow?

  • this guy is awesome in TDK much appreciated by me one of his die hard fans

  • I love you aaron!! XD

  • I think they will still bring back Two face in that classic "oh he was dead, but not really" comic book style.

  • he should play the mentalist if simon baker decides to go

  • He's too big a name for TV and he's versatility is incredible

  • hey ninectier. 2 words George Clooney

  • Everyone is not corruptible, that's why the ferries didn't blow up :)

  • Marry me aaron

    :)

  • I don't think they should have killed Dent. Not because I want to see him fight Batman again, but because they need to start putting some faces in Arkham. Having Scarecrow, Two-Face, and Joker interacting with eachother in Arkham would put together some really great scenes for future movies, and it's a shame they denied themselves of that opportunity. Sure, they can still have Joker and Scarecrow, but it would still be more interesting to put Two Face in there as well.

  • theyll come up with someone better..

  • @Werejabberwock yeah i agree maybe a good idea especially with joker but u know that joker doesnt exist without heath ledger joker is nothing without heath he practically made this movie along with bale and other great actors but somewhere out there there is not only one heath ledger there must be many that are capable and willing of playing such a difficult and amazing part that the legend heath played R.I.P heath ledger youre still out there!!!

  • does anyone besides me think that aaron eckhart is absolutely gorgeous? lol he's so hot!

  • @CatieCass Nope. I'm a (mostly) straight man, and I find myself dazzled by his attractiveness.

  • Two FACE !!! OMG

  • Yes, totally agree!!!, BRING BACK Two Face!!!!!

  • I was really disappointed that Nolan killed of Two Face so soon.

  • ...truly it was so soon. Counting down he has already used: Ras As Gul-or how ever-, The Scarecrow. The Joker and Two Face... In my opinion this are the most dark and mature villains of Batman-as the original style comic-with not Robin or Bat-family--

  • nice

  • He definitely looks like George Stobbart.

  • BRING BACK TWO-FACE! 1.Aaron Eckhart did an amazing job. 2.I dont wanna believe that fall killed Harvey Dent 3.There is so much more Two-Face storyline to tell with him becoming an all out criminal mob boss and last dont we all all wanna c chris nolans version of a Two-Face and Riddler combo? I say bring him back!!!

  • TDK's Two Face becoming a mob boss would be dumb. And let's just pretend Batman Forever never happened.

  • @Addyson1991 lets whip tommy lee jones from from batman history please

  • @masterkayaki The Batman Forever Twoface was a disgrace the character, but I don't blame Tommy Lee Jones, I blame that shitty director Joel Shitmacher.

  • @Addyson1991 TDK' Two Face was based on The Long Halloweens Two Face

therefore he is a mod boss whether you like it or not, maybe not in TDK but eventually

  • @blahmehblah1 And Aaron Eckhart and Christopher Nolan said he was dead, whether you like it or not.

  • @Addyson1991 And Christopher Nolan also said he had no intention in making TDK but he did

George Lucas said he would never make another Star Wars movie after the first trilogy......but he did. Anything and everything can happen in the movies, Two Face being the CENTRAL villain he is to the DC Universe, is not dead. He might be dead in the next one but that doesn't mean he is dead in the universe.

  • @blahmehblah1 When did Nolan ever say he had no intention of making TDK? The facts are, Nolan and Eckhart said he was dead, as did the script of the film (which said his neck snapped in the fall), and there was even a memorial for him. You can hold on to fan hope that it was all a conspiracy, but I can promise you, he's not coming back in the Nolan movies. Maybe in the next reboot.

  • @Addyson1991 and like I said, nothing is certain in a movie until it comes out, and Two Face was never said to be dead in TDK, it was just hinted. But a hint means fuck all to me, I like facts.

  • @blahmehblah1 And again, this Two-Face becoming a mob boss would be stupid. He may be inspired by the comics, but he's a very different character. The comic version wasn't motivated by revenge for Rachel's death (there wasn't even a Rachel in the comics), and movie version didn't have a split personality. They didn't even become Two-Face the same way. So the same rules don't apply.

  • @Addyson1991 I'm talking about "The Long Halloween" TDK was directly inspired by the basis for that story

if it follows it, then Harvey Dent does survive, if not, then he doesn't. It really is no biggie but coming on Youtube and claiming, not giving your opinion, BUT OUTRIGHT CLAIMING something that hasn't even been fully disclosed makes you look like a stupid prick, good day to you buddy.

  • @Addyson1991 - Batman and robin never happened either Lol

  • Aaron Eckhart deserved a Nomination, for me he had the best acting performance on the film. Very Underrated star, for me he is one of the best actor nowadays.

  • In fairness Dent and Batman both fell from the same place , but Batman gets up and runs off no problem. It could raise questions and i wouldnt mind Dent returning.

  • that is completely true !

  • Most underated actor of the film in my opinion

  • definitely yes i agree

  • I like everyone else were always talking about how awesome the film is gonna be when we see the joker and batman together. And I knew that Nolan made a great choice with Eckhart for the role of Harvey Dent / Two Face. But when I saw his performance I think everyone will agree he was the surprise hit for the film. He showed how two face really should have been not like that crap disgraceful Batman & Robin version of two face. Sorry Tommy Lee Jones.

  • And it's obvious that Dent is dead they hold a funeral for him for christ sake.

  • there was no casket...

  • Cmon man just admit hes dead -_- I mean really, didn't anyone see the picture of him behind Gordon when he was giving a speech at a certain scene?.....Im sick and tired of people saying "HES ALIVE!"....sorry, i wanted to release some anger there xP

Anyways, Heath wasn't only one of the best preformances there. Two-face was excellent as well.

  • I'll add that Batman not only fell from a shorter distance than from where Harvey was standing (remember, Batman was hanging from the edge for a minute), but his fall was broken by some wood. Harvey was TACKLED off and fell straight down. He probably hit the ground HARD. Batman's suit may have also helped soften the blow. So the fact that Batman survived is really not saying anything.

  • On top of that, if Harvey survived, the power of TDK's ending would be undone (sound familiar?). Completely ruined and wasted, in fact. Gordon's moving speech would become pointless, Batman taking the fall would become pointless. From both a logical and a storytelling standpoint, he should stay dead.

    Eckhart was awesome, btw.

  • @Addyson1991 Oh I'm certain that the suit protected Batman; it did when he fell on that car when he dived out the building to catch Rachel when the Joker dropped her off the edge.

  • @Scaltt stfu

  • Aaron's amazing. He's a great actor. He's got so much skill he was a PERFECT choice to play Harvey Dent/Two-Face. No-one could've done that role better than he did.

  • Harvey's dead.

Aaron even said himself that Harvey's dead. And Harvey was my favorite character in that movie!

  • i'd love too see a Heath Interview about the dark knight.

  • Comment removed

  • well.. that was a really good and dificult question

  • it's an interesting topic, 2 face's death. he and batman fell, batman survived, he "died". they never showed him being put into the ground . . . however, if he is alive, he doesn't have his coin because after batman tackled him, he dropped it and that defeats the purpose of 2 face. lol. i came up with a story of what would happen if 2 face lived. he still has the gun and it has 3 bullets, one for batman, one for the joker, and one for him . . . he obviously fails though . . .

  • i garantee it two face is not dead...remember that pause when the joker fucked up blowing up the hospital?? theyll probably say then is when he escaped....i mean common what direction can they go withh>> mr. freeze has been played...the riddler...the joker..poisin ivy...what big villian is left?? there is a shitload that can be with his character....his character still has that transistion to make from civilian hero to villain.

  • I thought two face died like at the very end though?

When batman pushed him over that ledge type thing, toward thevery end of the movie.

  • They never explained him dying, Just like how rhas al ghul, seemed like he died, but didnt physically show him dead.

batman & Harvey both got knocked out from the fall. remember, they landed on gravel. so it should be enough to keep them alive

  • deathstroke would be awesome for chris nolan's batman universe. as would deadshot

  • The only thing I didn't like about The Dark Knight was that they killed Two Face in the end... I was hoping he could have developed into a something more in anot Batman film... But stll, a superb film

  • or did they?

  • he's not dead, just knocked out.

they had a funeral ceromny, but at the same time they never showed a body.

  • Read the script. It describes how he has had his next broken and that he is DEAD, like someone else will be soon!

  • fantastic actor. Movieman is right, everyone brought their A-game and the entire film was perfect.

  • omg what the fuck. why is this guy so goodlooking. I am kinda jelous even though i am 20 years younger than him. hmm. i dunno i have a bit of a sexual attraction towards him, and i don't like that. shit.

  • It's alright. He does that to everyone.

  • Tons of people talk about Heath being amazing, but I think Aaron was overlooked...his Two Face was outstanding

  • He just forgot him, people forget things.

  • the joker is awsome but two-face is one of the best villians as well, eckhart played a good two-face

  • Agree totally, think hes overlooked in this film abit. He puts in a great performance

  • Did he have any scenes with Morgan?

  • even though heath and christian did such a great job i still think that aaron did an amazibng job as well

  • I think Aaron had the second best performance in the movie, but everyone did a great job.

And I hope Aaron returns as Two-Face again in the sequel, there's a hell of a lot more that could be done with his character. I hate when anyone says there's nothing more to be done when there are 60+ years worth of stories to pull ideas from.

  • Agreed, I hate when people say there's nothing more to do with the character!

There's soo many good stories with him!

"Jekyll and Hyde" and "Face to Face" are two personal favourites

  • He cant...he's dead.....Sorry...even I want the Two-Face back...

  • It's too early to tell what Nolan plans on doing. Even Nolan's wife said before that his death was left ambigious. For all we know Nolan is trying to keep his plans secretive and does plan to bring back Two-Face. It's a wait & see type of game.

  • 3:00 I bet Aaron wants to play with them.

  • man i still find it hard to believe that this is the same guy from erin brockovich - he looks soooo different!

  • is this truwe, why dont you save her the trouble and do it yourself, i fucking hate chainmail

  • The interviewer says it all...there were NO weak links in that cast!

  • aaron eckhart was amazing as two-face. he made me feel sorry for two-face; you even sympathize with what he is doing

  • TOTALLY! Always felt like he got a little overshadowed by the other incredible actors in the movie by the press...Bale and Ledger were obviously awesome too...but Eckart was definitely excellent as Two-Face .

  • Harvey Dent is the best character in this movie.

  • I still believe in Harvey Dent!

  • hahaha!

  • Why did Aaron NOT get an Oscar for his role?! He was just as good as Heath Ledger in my opinion! I wanted BOTH to win Oscars. I'm glad that Heath Ledger got one, but I feel bad that Aaron is really underrated in this film :(

  • To be fair UruFan, you would have ended up with a Thelma and Louise situation, where Aaron Eckhart would be up against Heath Ledger in the same acting category. Had Eckhart won against those odds, it would have been very a tainted victory to beat Ledger. That would probably be the most hated win since Crash - not because the winner was bad but because of what had to lose out.

  • Yeah, that probably would have been the case.

Which is why I say again, I wanted BOTH to win oscars ;)

  • coz they would have to win the same oscar, there can only be one best supporting actor oscar

  • OMG what was this guy thinking i think he was making up questions Aarons facial expression is priceless lol

  • I did feel sorry for Harvey.

  • Introduce a little anarchy Aaron!

  • i liked his performance in thank you for smoking, better

  • LOL, that was a funny movie

  • i agree what a stupid question. what a dick head.

  • Clavado al portero del Atletico de Madrid Leo Franco...

  • I believe in Harvey Dent!

  • Thank you.

    5/5!

  • He makes me moist!!

  • how a bout you put two of them, up your ass?!?!
