  • Still now IS considered as astounding movie !! Eastwood is a great interpreter for a nice story-the Firefox is a convincing fictional aircraft (mig 31 firefox, vs the real mig 31 foxhound, built some years later, but not so performing in term of speed and improved version of mig 25 foxbat)- the Firefox seems to be a compromise between the SR 71 and the A.T.F. 23

  • Awful

  • @walkabou5 You brats just don't know how to respect classics.. go back to your saggypant rappers.

  • I understand that all of the music and tapes were destroyed in a fire during production, hence the film portion was complete but there was nothing left to release as a soundtrack.

  • It just kills me that the moody music throughout the film isn't available. I have hope though: the Dragonslayer soundtrack was MIA for decades but finally released on soundtrackcollector(dot)com a few years back.

  • excellent movie..i'd have loved a sequel

  • The best line is when the Soviet Premier asks Gant "What do you think of our new toy?" Eastwood's reply is just pur awesome!

  • @Dirtcreature Agreed. What was even funnier is how the First Secretary completely underestimated Gant, whereas General Vladimirov didn't underestimate him for a second. If it came to battle of the wits, the movie would have been over in less than 5 minutes if it were Gant vs. the First Secretary. If it were Gant vs. Vladimirov, however, the movie could have gone on for hours.

  • @DBarns7 That's because the Sirst Secretary is a politician, and the General is a warrior, just like Gant, thus he understands what drives him, what makes him tick. Yes, the combination of the First Secretary vs the General made the movie last longer. The Soviet mind vs the American mind was the difference. The General had to start thinking outside of the box to figure out what Gant was going to do, instead of the strict controlled political atmosphere that was the Soviet Machine.

  • It is a age i am in searcing of it!

  • Thank you for this. i heard that maurice destroyed the original tapes, and that is why there is no soundtrack.

  • It´s a shame that doesn´t exist nothing about this soundtrack... This music score is great!! Thanks for posting it...

  • thats the credits suite.

  • A great theme to a great movie!! Thank you so much for uploading this, Dane!! You are the man!! :-)

  • I can't tell you HOW many times I've searched for it during the 90's at all used record stores... only to find out it was never printed/available on the market. If anyone knows anything as to a more recent release, let me know! I know there were some other interesting tracks during the movie besides this end title anthem.

  • @DetroitLove4U

I just took the credits from the movie. It's a shame that there is nothing available.

  • @DaneTheConquerer This must be one of those rare film scores (hard to find).
