How this song has managed to only stay in A Link to the Past is beyond me. I think it's the best zelda song of any in the series because of my nature that anything that resembles an evil march is amazing. I've written different versions of this song and in the right key signature it sounds uplifting even. Zelda music FTW!!!

Link's awakening was the first game that I had for Gameboy and it has left a lasting impression on me. It's in that small list of games that I could play over and over and never get bored. Midna's Desperate Hour gives an air of fear and haste.

I fucking love Dark World. The new orchestrated version from the 25th anniversary CD is BEYOND epic. My all time favorite, no contest.

And it's very uplifting to see someone who appreciates the Wind Waker music! Most people I know dislike that game with a passion, including all the music. Links Awakening is awesome as well. I just wish they would orchestrate it :/ The Brawl remix was... lacking.

Loved the list. I've played all the Loz and I recognize #1 just cant think of which game it's from? Btw my personal top 5 excluding any variation of the main theme, 5=song of storms, 4=dragon roost island, 3=dark world theme, 2=gerudo valley, 1=song of healing...most engaging/emotional melody and has been used in multiple Loz games.
