Other than the excessively fast tempo (it sounds as though you're trying to fit it into a specified time limit) I thought this was a wonderful performance. The choir did great, and my compliments go especially to the soloists. Well done!

Damn -- these kids are good. And hats off to their director for showing them how to get the best from themselves. I was in my H.S. varsity choir and we were renowned as one of the best in the U.S. We did this song for a competition and one of our concerts. I've heard several renditions but none that were better than we did -- until just now.

Many years ago I heard this choir or possibly another on Moody Bible 's chicago,IL radio station and I recorded it for personal use. I memorized the words all of them but I mispronounced O sufuni Mungu. I didn't put an F in the word instead I put a c or k so people were confused what I was looking for. I am so happy to have found the song and also to have found a video of the music.

I disagree. If the dynamics aren't good, then they would not have nailed things such as forte, mezzo-forte, piano, mezzo piano, pianissimo, or the accents on notes/words throughout the entire song and my favorite part where they crescendo at 0:40 in their song. What exactly are you referring to when you say "dynamics"; I would like to know!

It's hard to believe that someone could be so critical of such a great performance. These are young people with a strong voice and exacting movements. Shame on those who search for flaws. Just enjoy. That's what its here for.

The are cutting off their notes to fast they need to hold them out for at least 2 seconds so we can hear what they are trying to say, in my opinion i dont think they did to well they have a lot of diphthongs and they cut off their notes way to fast. Im in a high school choir and i honestly think we did a bit better. And the outfits are too distracting.

Actually for the fast pace they are doing, having accomp. for this arr. will not fit it. Keep in mind that for certain songs need instrumental while others like this one NEEDS acapelo (however you spell that word) in order to be expressed correctly. Or at least, that's what I believe.

Wah, temponya terlalu cepat. Untungnya pada kompak, sehingga tidak ada satu suarapun yang ketinggalan. Btw, PSM UGM pernah membawakan lagu ini di Pesparawi Mahasiswa 1999. Jadi juara 1.

kita emang udah mengompakkan untuk tidak ada yang nelat kalo tamponya tambah cepet. Sejak precompetition concert, lagu ini udah terasa lebih cepet daripada tempo asli. Padahal sebelum2nya, temponya baik2 saja.

@adinenjoy yes the tempo is a little fast I do remember the slow tempo it does get faster in the original version . the length of time for the original is close to fifteen minutes is that a true answer?
