hey so ive seen on alot of vids, ppl say that its easier to grind with the two middle wheels taken out they say its easier to get on the rail. why is that?

@jamesisheredw because your middle wheels are going to stick at the rail and then you are going to fly,but having them removed is a good way to learn grinds and not get hurt.Also you can buy some anti-rocker or freestyle frames because they dont have middle wheels

Hey, I'm not sure if this makes sense or not, but here goes. I can only do grinds like the mizou where my body is turning out, in other words, not turning towards the rail, but instead away from it. As a result I can not soul grind correctly, so it looks very "un sexy." Does anyone have any advice for how to turn their body towards the rail when they jump on, because I can get my soul foot on easily, it's just my other foot that I can't get on without jumping off. PS my soul foot is my right. TY

@pmurph5 I was upset they didn't talk about the upper body in this tip. however i already knew how to do a soul i just enjoy fliping through these tips. anyways if you or anyone else who watches this tip on the soul is having trouble it is key that you rotate our shoulder in. Murph is right footed so rotate your left shoulder towards what your grinding. make sure you keep your head straight towards the end of what your hitting just like he said.

@DrInsaneInline Im having the same issue dude. i was at the skate park earlier today practicing different grinds but once i reached the soul grind i was failing left and right. One specific thing i noticed that he said is that you have to evenly distribute your weight. what i was doing was putting all the weight on my soul foot and when my front foot went in front to complete it i slipped out. so now that i think about it you really do have to even the weight out. Only one way to find out.

For me, I did martial arts before I started blading, and I would kick with my right leg too.

Since when I kick with my right leg I have to balance on my left, I found it more comfortable having my left leg my soul foot. But as I said, the final decision is up to you, and you'll be much better if you learn how to do tricks both ways.

It all equals out anyways. I skate and I chill and film with bladers. I don't have a problem with them. It just bothers me that you're saying blading has way more style when it's the same difference with skateboarding blading has its little tweaks and ups and downs, and so does skateboarding. Thanks.

@OneCoinTwoCoin Blade vs. skateboard beef is wack. I've been blading for years now, before blading I was a skateboarder. Reason why I switched was cuz I dig the freedom of blading, some people prefer to skateboard. Majority of people at the park are skateboarders, I get along with most of them. It's usually the kids who suck at skateboarding that crack on rollerbladers. Don't really understand why. Another thing I love to do is let the kids who talk shit, try on the skates, most of em can't.

Im starting to skate again and ive ordered Razor Genesys 7.2s, i use to run rollerblade back when i was decent. So i hope these tips will help me learn these tricks again.

@AaronGetsDomes i suggest, if u can change that order for the 7.2's u should: for a person starting to skate again, i wouldnt get all white or mostly white skates, after they get extremely dirty and used up, its hard to clean, i have a friend who has had a trouble sometime cleaning his skates, if i were you, i'd get the razors GT, they are mostly black, with some blue parts, dirts not so noticable and it has some style. . .

@Lukex1 Try stalling on it first to get your confidence on jumping on it :) If you can ddo that then try doing the grind on a smaller obsticle :) dont worrie youll get there :)
