Joe said he was thinking about buying a plumbing business for around $250,000.00 he would then have employees workin for him and be in a higher tax bracket. Senator Government Obama did not understand this. Successful Plumbers and Electrician sub-contractors around here make much more than 250k a year and have the biggest and most expensive houses....Obama is way off the beam...he neve swung an eswing hammer! :)

Now Obama said he will raise the Capital Gains tax....you know as I do that trillions of wealth has been lost on the stock market leaving some people broke...and even if they show a profit they will carry their losses forward and Obama wont be bringing money to the U.S. treasury via C.G. taxes for years...McCain brought this out in a round about way which I understood...He told Senator Government nobody should have taxes increased in this economy.
I listened to your radio show after the debate and you were very mad at both men....mostly cause nobody rose to be the new sheriff and demand the bad guys get caught and go to jail for the wallstreet fraud, while I concur that McCain was not very affective on that point he has already stated he would investigate and bring the crooks to justice as President....he could have helped his cause if he had been more adamant...I do think he did a good job tho.
First of all as someone who has worked in the construction business I want to tell you that you dont need a license to be a good plumber. Many counties dont require a license. The blue collar guys and gals understood Joe very well.
