The clashing of feeling in this song is great... Aggression and frustration in the tone of the opening, and the longing of the each of the verses between. This might be one of their most underrated songs. "It seems just like the way it goes, that down the road we might have known about the love in both of us..." You have to listen hard to catch it, but once you do, it really makes you think about the meaning of the rest of the song.

This is probably the most hard core I've ever heard Hurt. For once there is a song with more passion if you will. No offense people. Great Job Artist. :). It's also funny how it starts reall hard core like Metal where it starts off saying "There's no safe place for me to hide" and then the song mellows down quite a bit. Interesting definitely not what I expected and for good reason.

@DrLoonatic Look at the amount of views these songs get. My point wasn't a mere hatred for the mainstream but moreso me exhalting the people that DO find Hurt and their songs. I do agree that everyone deserves a chance to witness beauty, hence why there's about 3 or 4 Hurt songs going about on the radio, but the ones that catch the beauty are the ones that need to, and that was my point. Giving more exposure than what they have isn't needed, their greatness attracts the targets of their songs.

No no no, I love Hurt, and I don't mean to degrade them at all. I was just wondering if anyone else sees the similarities between them. Like 1:32, Hurt uses pretty high, airy vocals over distorted guitar power chords, sone stuff that you can find APC doing. The drums in the verses have a very distinct, echoey sound, like APC, and the way they use a voice inerwieved in the vocals that takes a less dominant sound, they all reming me of APC. Loren didn't steel anything, this song has that feel.
