Tim has a cult following. That's what I think, judging from the relatively low number of views his clips have. There's no doubt that Tim's fans are discerning music appreciators, who may or may not go for the run of the mill popular music of nowadays.
I quite like Christina Aguilera.
Her voice and personality just don't give me goosebumps, nor do they make me cry.
The sentiments Tim manages to invoke in much of his music are just too much to comprehend (for me). Yet, I love him.
l love this!!! l have never heard this one before...l'm 18 so l missed him while he was on Earth...but l love his work, and thanks to youtube l can find rare songs, many of which are unavailable on cd(ie Starsailor)....love you Tim.
@FerventSylph I must! For a long time l have been talking about getting a vinyl player for Starsailor alone..but l will definitely look into downloading the album...
I hope Pink Floyd acknowledge their debt to Tim as this is clearly the inspiration for Wish You Were Here. As influential as Dylan. The rare for the rare....
Thank you so, so, so much, Sylph!! This is such a classic.
Is this from the Live At Troubador album?? It sounds like it. Could you possibly upload "Gypsy Woman" from that performance??? That would be so far out, that is one of my faves...
I will! I just moved house so all my cd's are piled in a dusty corner somewhere! Thanks for the comment, much appreciated. It is live, oui. I'll put it up asap.
No problem! Lorca is a great album. I was suprised not to find this track on here. It is nice to add something to youtube that is not already on here. Thanks you!

Part 2
Women are almost always drawn to enigmatic and complex men. Okay, that covers me.
So what I'd like to understand is, why do (men's) men like his music so much?

This song is brilliant, particularly the at the start where it moves from stark depression to a floaty redemptive feel
