Ed alleyne johnson is 1 of the greatest underrated underappreciated violin players ever. Any1 from any music group will apreciate the sounds of Ed. Too bad, he's not heavily advertised, as the crappy music we are forced to listen to here in the U.S.
This man should be playing in very big concert halls, not in the streets. He probably will make it big someday, and he should, because the world would love every single ed alleyne johnson originals. GO ED!
@GiovannyGarzonPardo it's more personal when you can be really close to the artist, and vice versa...sometimes i just play outside, and when the kiddos from across the road come to listen i get a warm feeling knowing i make them happy for the time being...you don't get that when you play in a hall
Britains got Talent wouldn't be interested they look at someone who is sellable its not about bringing real talent forward, same with x-factor there looking for a product to market. Peter Kay hit the nail on he head with his spoof of it.
@Pro2beDuh Sadly that won't ever happend. Theres two reasons why people watch britains got talent. Heres a reason; People wanna see some idiots (they are attention whores in secret). And heres the other reason; people want to see good people.
Sadly people gonna see some attention whores period. But ohwell all I can say about Ed Alleyne-Johnson is that he should be happy not to be seen by the world. He is great, after all and youtube, a good website, allow us to watch his videos. (Music)
he doesnt tour to my knowledge. he toured with a band for 2 years a while ago. usually he just plays on the streets of chester or some other place in england i forget where. if you want to see him youll probably have to hunt him down in england. i sure want to.
he plays in chester and York. However it may interest you to know he is doing a mini US tour with New Model Army from what my brother told me the other week
It's nice to see some video of Ed. He used to play in Liverpool a lot (he's from there) and he's a lovely bloke to talk to as well as being super-talented. I have most of his cds, bought from him in person. I've been a fan since the days he played with New Model Army
In my opinion, he enjoy perfoming in street providing music to the hectic lifestyle of people~ people are attracted to listen to his music because of his talent but not because of his fame.
I want to see Ed play live to. Unfortunately this will never happen :( because I'm also in a small city, in Bulgaria - Razgrad.Everything I want never happens!!!:(
I wish to see Ed play live befor I die some day.But I am in a small city in India in Karnataka state. If I have any next incrnation,I wish to be his son.He has brought so much solace to me in my troubled times.Thank you ED whereever u are, may god Bless you.You bring mother nature into our very souls..
τι ταλενταρα ειναι αυτος!!!!!!!!!please inform me about him!!!!!!!i m in love with his music and i dont even know the names of the songs, the name of his cd,or anything else...
Ed alleyne is a very oldschool musician ... does not need to attract people for shopping or shit.He plays music for so many years and is still buskin on the road.Who deserves more respect as a musician than the one buskin after such a great recognition ?And his music is STILL been played in TV,radio and even in the train stations here in greece! 90's classical stuff rules,ed alleyne is a superb composer and a pioneer.
Strayed onto Ed's patch in Chester earlier this year. Wife and daughter went off shopping and "collected" me a couple of hours later. I would have stood there all day as long as Ed was playing. His repetoire is amazing. Personally, I can't understand all the people that just walk by without seeming to notice him!
They are all on a pre programmed shopping autopilot. You were not there to shop so were receptive to the world outside of the psychological neuro linguistic programmed mind trap that the High street has become. So it goes!
I've had the good fortune to see him in York quite a few times in the last few weeks (near M&S, Saturday afternoons). Have to say that he sounds great live and wins over a good proportion of passers-by, and deservedly so!
Simplemente excelente!!!!

He has an incredible talent!
I agree with your comment, he should be in large concert halls and not in the streets!!
